I’ve been wanting to try Mancini’s for four years, and it finally happened on Valentine’s Day for dinner in 2026! They do not accept reservations, and that was fine by us, so we arrived at the restaurant around 4:40 pm for a 5 pm restaurant opening. We bet that maybe six other people would be in line with us, and boy were we ever wrong! When we arrived, there was about twenty people in line, and within ten minutes, at least another twenty people arrived. The owner greeted everyone with a warm welcome and asked for us to be patient with his staff, and that was completely understandable looking at the size of the crowd that waited to get inside. We were seated within a few minutes, were taken care of by various members of the team, and never felt rushed, forgotten, or like we were waiting on our food for a long time. We enjoyed a roasted garlic bulb appetizer, cream of crab soup (beyond delicious, and FULL of crab, and my boyfriend just rated theirs at the top of his list, thus bumping two other restaurants down the chain lol), seafood lasagna, capellini ai fruitti di mare, and a very smooth and delicious tiramisu. Needless to say, we took a lot of leftovers home and just ate them for dinner again tonight!!! When we left the restaurant about 90 minutes later, we walked through the entire restaurant, and it was full!!! Full of energy, full of life, full of a warm and welcoming feeling that was easy enough to see and feel. Thank you to Mancini’s for a terrific meal, fabulous service, and we thoroughly cannot wait to come back!

Thank you Flynn for serving us tonight! You did excellent . The food was hot and delicious. My husband had the lasagna and really enjoyed it. My friend and I had the Flounder Francois. The fish was very fresh and cooked to perfection.

Pretty good pizza, it’s woodfired! Maybe could have used a bit more time in the oven though. Service was fast and friendly!

We came to this place when another pizza/Italian joint down the street had us waiting at the door because they “…only had one server” that night.

We’re really thankful we made the snap decision to turn heel and drive northbound until we found a better gig, because we most certainly did. The wait staff was incredibly personable and patient with my three rambunctious children (brought out chunks of pizza dough for them to play with and they did… quietly… the whole time we sat there, I couldn’t believe it.).

Service was prompt, and the food was very, very good. Our family had a sampling of nearly every type they had on the menu – salad, pasta, specialty, pizza – and everything was up to our NYer expectations, when it comes to Italian food.

Couple notes – They told us the brick oven pizza was 11″, but it was a little bigger than that. Not complaining, but if you’re wondering how many to get, I’d say the pizza will feed two adults who have already had apps, two or three kids, or one adult who wants a couple cold slices in the fridge when they wake up in the middle of the night, later.

-Later in the evening, the lighting is a little dark for my tastes. I know that’s the “table in the back” sorta ambience a lot of Italian places go with, I’m just mentioning in case that matters to you.

All in all, we were very thankful the place down the street didn’t have it’s s— together, because Mancini’s was a great stop for my family.

First time eating there last night, started off with the ceaser and the Romain and Gorgonzola salad(both were good size portion and really good)!
The martini was on point (good job bartender)
We then had the cheese ravioli, meatballs & the flounder piccata over spaghetti. All in all had an amazing meal and leftovers to bring home the portions there are legit ! Clair was our server and did an amazing job thank you! Can’t wait to return and hopefully have room for dessert next time !

Love this place. Hard to find a good restaurant at a beach resort. Large portion and delicious
Only problem, no reservations.

I was disappointed in this place. The hostess is the first person you see & has an important job of making that first great impression. This hostess did not make a welcoming impression. She wasn’t friendly & welcoming at all. As we were leaving, she completely ignored us. I would expect a hostess to say thanks for coming in, or have a nice night, some type of acknowledgement. She was rude, which set the vibe in the restaurant. The food was just mediocre. I won’t return.

I’ve had Mancini’s on my list for a while now, and the stars finally lined up where I was in Fenwick, hungry, and didn’t have other plans. I’m so glad we stopped in because it was absolutely delicious.
We started with a Caesar salad and the portobello mushrooms. The mushrooms were fantastic- the combination with the gorgonzola and foccaccia bread for dipping was a heavenly combination.
For dinner, I had the linguini with red clam sauce and my wife had the lasagna al Forno. The linguini was excellent- their “famous” marinara sauce 100% lived up to expectations. It had that homemade Italian family recipe taste that is hard to replicate. The lasagna was hearty and rich- and large enough to take half home.
Overall, Mancini’s had a traditional family Italian restaurant feel, which is often not easy to find at the Delaware beaches. The service was excellent and they have plenty of parking (you can also park across the street at the church).
We will definitely be back to Mancini’s soon! They have a ton of pastas on the menu that I want to try- not to mention their pizza.

The most expensive bland pizza. This is NOT a proper pizza place..
We ordered 2 pizzas (vegetables and the white one) – the size is small for the price…we paid 40$ for the two relatively small pizzas (about 20$ for 12 inch pizza including taxes). I was surprised by the price but still gave it the benefit of the doubt because they claim it’s brick oven pizza….
It was NoT good! The white pizza has a strong onion smell to it. the vegetable pizza was soggy and had a bland canned tomatoes sauce taste – not fresh, not expected and not worth the money.

The owner is a rude rude woman. She gave us a rude annoying look when we told her we had a table of 9. We got there at 5 when they opened. They refused to put tables together, we had to sit at separate tables. It was a birthday dinner. Been going there for a decade. Never again. Will be writing further reviews elsewhere.
