The Harvest Bowl and the General Tso Bowl were both big hits that were fresh, satisfying, and packed with flavor. For gluten free diners, Barton’s is truly a dream. They offer a clearly labeled gluten free menu and an impressive four choices of gluten free desserts, which is so rare and appreciated.
This is easily a number one spot for all diners, whether you’re gluten free or not. We can’t wait to return.
The Wagyu steak was perfect cooked and the calamaris very fresh.

The atmosphere feels refined without being pretentious, which contributes greatly to the overall experience.
During our recent visit, my husband and I both ordered the crusted haddock, and it was truly outstanding. The preparation was impeccable—the fish was delicate, flavorful, and so tender it seemed to dissolve effortlessly on the palate. It is clear that a great deal of culinary attention is given to the quality and execution of their dishes.
My husband and friends also noted that the cocktails were poured with a commendable level of generosity, something that many restaurants unfortunately tend to be rather restrained with these days.
In our opinion, the pricing is entirely commensurate with the caliber and flavor of the cuisine being served.
Equally noteworthy is the exceptional professionalism of the wait staff. Our server was exceedingly gracious and demonstrated an impressive familiarity with the menu, even offering thoughtful recommendations when asked, which made the experience feel both welcoming and polished.
Parking is ample, which is always appreciated. However, the restaurant’s popularity is quite evident—the parking lot can become remarkably full even during weekday lunch hours. For that reason, we personally prefer to avoid weekend visits, when the crowds are even more substantial.
All in all, Burtons provides a consistently enjoyable dining experience, combining excellent cuisine, well-crafted cocktails, and attentive service within a pleasantly sophisticated setting.
Our waitress was very helpful and welcoming.
Overall the look and feel of the place is welcoming and has an open layout.
For appetizer I ordered spinach and artichoke dip. 8/10
My daughter ordered a Shirley Temple which came with one cherry in the first cup and no cherries in the second cup, 6/10
I had a Whalers IPA – cold and fresh. 9/10
Food order was :
crabcake sandwich- which looked good. Taste was ok, but a little more spice wouldn’t kill them. The crabcake itself was way too soft and oozed out of the back of the sandwich. 5/10
California chicken sandwich – felt dry, my daughter ate about half before saying she would not have it again. 5/10
For dessert we split a keylime pie. This was the redeemer as it was one of the best we have had. 9/10
We arrived without a reservation and did have a 30 minute wait, but that was expected for a busy Thursday night. We killed time by sitting at the bar.
We loved the NY strip steak and California Chicken Sandwich from their mostly (or even fully?) from-scratch kitchen. The chocolate cake and affogato were amazing as well.
Jodie, our server, was fantastic. 5 stars!
Atmosphere was s very pleasant! (Big change from TGIF). Bar looks lovely and they have a $9 bar bite menu.
My husband and I were pleased with our entrees. I had the Chicken Milanese Alfredo, chicken cutlets crispy and cooked nicely, could have been a bit more creamy, didn’t get much of the Alfredo vibe/sauce.
Welcome addition to Mansfield. We will certainly return!
