This is a little hidden gem, reminiscent of the old mom and pop diners of old. I haven’t had a chance to try the savory menu, and will update when I do, but the sweets menu is deserving of the namesake! I commissioned a full red velvet cake for my aunt, who is a notorious connoisseur of red velvet, and she absolutely ADORED the cake. The turnaround was around two days, and the cake holds up well. Everything is handmade with love. Get you some Tasty Sweet!

Came all the way from New York to try the catfish and seafood … put Doug’s fish fry to shame! Great service and the food was great, and the fried catfish, flounder and okra was nice and crisp but not oily and heavy batter.

I love this place but it’s iffy. Some days it’s really good and others I hate that I wasted my money. I usually get the Tilapia, cheese grits and eggs every Friday but last Friday it wasn’t that great so I didn’t bother to get it today.

The Mac and cheese was good. The rice and gravy was good. My cornbread was cold and dry. My chicken breast must have been the last piece frying because it was so dry, hard, and a burnt taste.

Stopped here for lunch with the family. I got the flounder with some wings and it was awesome. The rest of the family got a hot dog, hamburger, cheeseburger and some chicken tenders. We all split some red velvet cake for dessert. Everything was great and very affordable. Staff was very friendly. Would recommend.

A contestant for the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Sides were descent. I also ate breakfast there and the eggs and grits were very good, biscuit was descent but a lil dry. The facilities are poor but clean enough to eat there. Takeout is better though.

When we travel, we try to eat at establishments that are locally owned rather than the chain restaurants. We’re not from the area and was just passing through. We did a Google search and found this gem. The service was excellent and our breakfast platters had generous portions. We both agreed the star of the breakfast was the pancakes! If we’re ever in the area again, we will make it a point to stop for a bite.
