We just came for dinner tonight, and I ordered a 6 oz sirloin cooked well done. Unfortunately, it came pink inside. I politely let the waiter know that it was pink and that I had ordered it well done. He mentioned that it looked normal. Because of this, I wasn’t able to eat the steak. The sides, however, were very good — the baked potato and fresh vegetables.

Excellent steakhouse with great organization. The number of people who want to eat here proves that the price-performance ratio is right. I am impressed by the great organization and the friendliness of the staff. Definitely one of my personal favorites that I keep coming back to. There is plenty of parking available.
It is advisable to get on the waiting list early to reduce the wait. You can also order food to take away.
I deducted one star because of the dirty restroom. It is too small for this number of guests and was dirty and unkempt.

We went early Friday evening and there was a big crowd. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated. The fresh rolls, steak, pork chops and sides were delicious. Service was good despite how busy they were. We liked the decor. It was somewhat noisy but festive atmosphere as several tables were celebrating birthdays.

What a find! Road Kill hamburger steak just exploded with flavor. Sylvia was provided outstanding service and made everything just right. Fast service and a very comfortable dining environment. Visit as soon as you can.

I walked into this establishment expecting to find Dalton clearing out the riff-raff. Instead, I found a line of people vibrating with excitement because their little black buzzers were going off.
The Atmosphere
It’s loud. It’s chaotic. There’s sawdust on the floor—presumably to soak up the sweat of the brave souls performing the line dances every thirty minutes. I kept my back to the wall, watching the perimeter, waiting for a bar fight to break out. It never did, but the energy was so high I half-expected Sam Elliott to stroll out of the kitchen and tell me that “opinions vary.”
The Service
My server didn’t have a black belt, but they handled that tray of drinks with the grace of a martial artist. I followed the three simple rules of the Roadhouse:
Expect the unexpected.
Don’t eat the rolls too fast (impossible).
Be nice. I was nice, and in return, I was gifted with more cinnamon butter than one man should be allowed to possess.
The Main Event
I ordered the 6oz Sirloin, cooked medium-rare. When it arrived, I realized that “pain don’t hurt,” but a perfectly seasoned steak definitely heals. It was tough enough to command respect but tender enough that I didn’t need to use a broken beer bottle to cut it.
The Verdict
If you’re looking for a quiet night out, you’ve come to the wrong place. But if you want to feel like the protagonist of an 80s action flick while consuming your body weight in peanuts, this Greenville staple is the place to be.
Final thought: I asked the hostess if she’d ever been been stabbed, and she just asked if I wanted to sit in a booth or a table. Professional. 5 stars.

Wonderful ‘No Pressure’ atmosphere with vibrant staff and beautiful craftsmanship in culinary. It was my first time ever going after hearing all the buzz. I will be going again…and again. My waitress was so nice I had no problem leaving a nice little tip for her. So please tip your person as well. Don’t get me started on the steak. I ordered an 11 oz sirloin (well) and My God, the grill master is a legend of some sort because when I got “that thang” it was perfect. The temp was spot on and his scores across the protein was what people talk about around the campfire. My sides were mash and green beans with grilled shrimp. I don’t have pictures because I didn’t want evidence of said events. Lmao Omg..fresh green beans and chunky mash with gravy After reading this just go ahead and get in your car, login the GPS and get to it… Good luck getting back. Lol #FullAndHappy

No wait time. Which is why I’m giving it 2 stars. We order 3 steaks MEDIUM-WELL but when we got them they were all WELL-DONE to the point of burnt on the ends. We were on a schedule time otherwise I would’ve sent them back. $90 to something that was not worth it. Waitress was aware bc she even said “yea, they don’t look medium-well at all” and then proceeded to just apologize. Mind you when we got there it wasn’t busy at all, so no excuse for steaks to be overcooked.
