Tacky says it all but in a cool way. Food was excellent and atmosphere was fun and lively. Excellent outside play area for kids also. Our server/bartender was Michael (Navy Vet) and he had an outstanding personality and was a fantastic employee. Definitely deserved the 25% tip. We will definitely come again.

Good breakfast, even though the portions are quite small. Today we got shrimp & grit, TJ breakfast bowl. Highly recommend if you want something new. Not very busy during the morning.

The best restaurant we ate at in gulf shores! We found parking really easily however we went around 4pm. Environment was super colorful and the place was decorated with duct tape. Immediately got seated and food came out quickly. Our waitress, Katie, was super nice and we joked around and got to meet “manager in charge of the day” Bryan! Staff was super sweet and nice. I got the steamed crab legs and it was super good as well as the butter, corn, and potatoes!!!!!! The rest of my party loved what they got as well! We will always remember this place and will be back next time we visit.

Went and had their lunch special. Prices were good. Portions were NOT. The hb steak was smaller than the biscuit. Sides were in a shallow dish with only 4 maybe 5 bites of food. Manager is aware and defends the pathetic portions saying hes saving on food cost. We went last year and prices were about the same but Portions were double what they are now. The 1 positive thing is have to say is the waiters & waitresses are amazing!! Always friendly & polite and take great care of us!!

Nice waterfront breakfast. I went here on Monday for breakfast. They weren’t busy, got seated and drink order taken immediately. Very friendly staff. I ordered the Shrimp Omelette. It was really good, the seasoning on the shrimp was excellent. I also got a Bloody Mary, which was good, but I really enjoyed the pickled green beans that were in it. If you want to have a nice, relaxed, waterfront breakfast this is the place. Would highly recommend for locals or visitors.

Great location on the water with sand and play area. They also have fish food for purchase, but we did not see any fish. The birds did enjoy it. Good food – Firecracker Shrimp Wrap was so good and didn’t see it at any other restaurants. Crab cake sandwich was good, but so small that it was just centered on bun.

We just had breakfast at Tacky Jack’s. it eas our first time ever trying this restaurant, but after passing by the Gulf Shore’s location and seeing the cool appearance and vibe, I was intrested in trying it. The food was great. Our server Josh was amazing. He was very attentive, friendly and helpful. We will return for dinner sometime when we are back in town.

Went to Tacky Jacks for lunch on a Thursday afternoon this past week. We were greeted and seated right away (table of 4). Our server Abbey was great, she gave drink and food recommendations that were delicious. Our daughter who is extremely picky even ate her meal! We enjoyed the fun atmosphere and great food. Service was quick and prices were good. Whenever we are back in the area we will definitely be back.

We went here when the ASA competition was in town. We were surprised by the no wait time we were seated immediately. The service was great. We had ate here once before and the place was packed. The food was excellent and came out quickly. We will definitely be back.

We should have known when we were given the “side eye” as we walked up… The first hostesses we saw acted like we were interrupting them, though the restaurant was not busy AT ALL. Our server, Michael, was amazing! Friendly and on top of things. The food was “ok”. My husband and I both got fish and it was not hot, just kinda room temp/warm. He ended up with food poisoning. We got fried pickles as an appetizer, and they were good. Nothing to write home about. Probably will not go back. It could have just been an off night, but other than our server, it was not a good experience.
