It was quiet when we arrived at 6:30 but by 7, it was packed. At 7, they have a very singer who plays the guitar. Very good background music.
Very good wait staff and I like that they show you pictures of the specials on an I pad but don’t tell you the prices.
I opted for the Frutti Di Mare withy shrimp, mussels, scallops, and calamari over pasta, choice of penne or linguine. It was very good but surprisingly light on the pasta.
My wife chose her favorite, Chicken Parmigiana , with pasta, either penne or linguine and marinara sauce. She liked it.
Definitely will return.
Frankly, most Italian in Fort Lauderdale is in disappointing — corporate, bland, soupy, loud. We’d about given up. What a delightful surprise to find this lovely exception. Fabulous flavors, impeccable gracious service, in a warm comfortable environment where you can hear your guests without shouting.
Chef offered us small cups of velvety sweet potato cream soup, everyone murmured at the first spoonful, so delicious. Chicken Parmigiana was thinly pounded crisp and just simply lovely. Lasagna Bolognese, meaty super flavorful. Chicken Francaise light lemon creamy. Great drinks.
Save room for dessert. Limoncello cake. Very light not too sweet. Perfect end to a great meal.
Sergio made us feel welcome, appreciated, and offered thoughtful suggestions (and many small treats) throughout.
Skip the strip. This place is fabulous. Live acoustic music Friday and Saturday. We’re going back tomorrow.
Don’t get fooled by how it looks on the outside. It may seem a little underwhelming compared to other Italian places you’re used to. But it’s a true hidden gem.
They had live music playing and the singer was really talented. He kept us entertained with some Christmas songs and few other songs from past known collections.
The food!! Omg!!
Everything was freshly prepared. I ordered the mushroom ravioli and from the sauce to the ravioli, it was perfection.
We were a party of 12 so they took a little bit of time to serve the food. But given that everything was fresh, it’s understandable.
Nothing was frozen and thawed. Even the eggplant Parmesan was made from fresh eggplant. So you get the idea. Tasty and freshly prepared food.
The service was really good too. Our server was able to manage such a big group perfectly. No issues.
And the desserts…we ordered the flan, chocolate cake and tiramisu. Everything was great but the chocolate cake was my personal favorite. Warm and gooey with cold ice cream.
And we ended our dinner with some cappuccino to pair with the dessert.
I definitely recommend this place.
It’s a complete experience, the music, food, drinks and service. Perfection.
Service was quick, I’ll give them that. But it had that slightly scripted friendliness that tells you they’re moving tables, not serving passion.
The calamari came out just shy of rubbery. One minute more in the fryer and we’d be talking bungee-cord territory. Thankfully, the tomato sauce managed to save the appetizer from complete disaster.
Then came the pasta with meatballs… and let me be blunt: it was bland. Look at the meatballs and you know instantly—they’re not house-made. They’re processed, pre-packaged, and tossed into the dish like an afterthought.
The crab ravioli followed the same theme: clearly store-bought and reheated. The sauce actually tasted decent, but it was drowning in cream. Italian sauces should be light, bright, and designed to elevate the ingredients—not smother them.
The tiramisu was probably the best part of the meal. It seemed to be made in-house and had good flavor, even if it looked a bit tired. They tried to disguise that with whipped cream and strawberries, but the effort was… noticeable.
And here’s the kicker: this place has surprisingly high ratings.
Honestly, I’m baffled.
If you truly love Italian food—authentic, balanced, thoughtfully crafted Italian food—there are far better options nearby.
The food was simply outstanding: authentic dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauces rich and delicious, and the desserts absolutely irresistible.
Definitely a place I will return to and recommend without hesitation. Excellent service and top-quality food that exceeded my expectations.
The mixed salad was only saved because I asked for lemon and dressed it myself. I had to remove the cucumbers because they were limp and not fresh. They looked like they had been carried over from yesterday’s salad.
The waiters were very nice, but I’m sure they don’t even know what they’re serving to guests.
I wish this place paid more attention to its guests. I paid $81. For that check, I could have had something much higher quality.
