Decided to check out this place based on previous reviews. They did not disappoint. I had the gorditas and tacos. My neighbor had the torta. Food was excellent. Gorditas are made by hand and the spicy salsas are homemade. It’s the ultimate hole in the wall with authentic flavors of Mexico.

If you are looking for authentic gorditas, this is the place. Don’t be fool by the way it looks. This is an authentic whole in the wall restaurants inside a Bazar. My favorite gorditas are papas with carne de puerco with green salsa, chicharrón with green salsa, rajas with queso spicy but great flavor and last but not least the nopales con carne de puerco en salsa roja spicy as well!! The have other items on the menu like menudo, pozole and tacos.
If you are looking for great spicy gorditas this is your place!

I love this place so much. Their food is so comforting and delicious!
The place is family owned and they’re always very attentive, just make sure to order everything the first time around (sauces, napkins and drinks all at once) because they don’t have waiters or employees. It’s just the family in the kitchen.
This place is always clean

The gorditas are absolutely delicious! I had beans and cheese, and Rajas. They were freshly made and full of flavor. The pozole and menudo are also delicious! They both have a kick but are not overly spicy or greasy.
They have fresh fruit waters, and cucumber is my absolute favorite. Hands down, some of the best home style Mexican food I’ve had in a while.

You will find this spot in the far left corner of the Bazaar. The best pozole I’ve ever had in a public establishment.

Best place to get gorditas and menudo. It’s inside like a plaza. It looks a little scary at first if you have never been and a little confusing on how to find the place once your inside but just walk into the doors and head straight till you see a bouncy house. Once you see a bouncy house take a left to the back and you will see it. It’s in a little corner. Best food ever. My family and I go eat there every time we are in the Dallas area. It never disappoints.

Located inside the Irving bazaar, this place makes authentic mexican food. Everything is hand made to order. Their menudo, pozole and gorditas are good. They have all types of fillings. Everyone knows this is a good spot to get cheap lunch on this side of irving. They do to go as well. Service is slow sometimes, but they do make everything from scratch.
TIP: the bazaar has no air condition so in the summer do not eat in. It gets super hot with the food stalls and the heat of summer.

Came here after I read the reviews. Purchased menudo for myself, gorditas and a Mexican burger for the rest of the family.
The staff was friendly and respectful. The place was busy to say the least.
The pastor gordita was definitely not pastor, more like hazado de puerco. The second gordita was de chicharron. That was probably the better one by a long a shot.
The Mexican burger was tasty, according to the kids. Nothing negative to say.
The main factor for the 2 star review was the menudo.
They do give you condiments on the side but there was something off about it.
Well couple hours later, I had a stomach bug. The menudo had an affect on me. Now I have an upset stomach, crazy bloated with burping of the cow stomach taste/sensation.
Maybe I got a bad batch, but I will not be coming back.
Your boy even missed a day of work because of it.

I was not aware this place was inside the Irving Bazar, getting there was a bit interesting. The food is beyond amazing, it has authentic flavor!. I have been living in the DFW are for a little over 6 years and believe me when I tell you this food actually tastes like Mexican food, not the Tex-Mex style we use to buy by deceiving restaurants trying to make you think they are Mexican (nothing wrong with Tex Mex, just false advertising). We ordered different styles of gorditas, 2 diferente syles of a large quesadilla, a pork torta, tacos and horchata water and nothing was a disappointment. The style and cleanliness of this place is great. Conclusion: getting lost inside the Irving Bazar makes your trip worth it as long as you get yourself a taste of Gorditas Doña Gely!

The best gorditas I’ve had in the dfw area. I have to go back to try everything else. The frijoles y queso gordita was absolutely fantastic.
