Tried Milk & Honey Cafe food for the first time and WOW! We were looking for a good Taiwanese food after traveling back from Taiwan and this place surpassed all expectations! Beef noodle soup – to die for – so flavorful and the meat was so tender! Chicken steak was one of the best ones we’ve ever had & the cucumber salad was so refreshing! Will be back!

Came here with fam on Sunday for lunch. We ordered Taiwanese meatball soup(swapped noodles for bifun), chicken cutlet, popcorn chicken bento and more popcorn chicken. The good, nice cozy even slightly quirky atmosphere. Staff is polite and friendly. The norm, popcorn chicken and chicken cutlet were good but nothing to write home about. The not so great, Taiwanese meatball texture was quite off, not sure if they over starch it or using a different type of cut for the meat filling. As other reviews mentioned a lot of noodle (in our case bifun), and the soup was very thick. Overall, it hits the spot when I’m having that Taiwanese food crave.

I went out to lunch with my friend on Sunday. The restaurant itself has a very unusual vibe, very welcoming, it feels like you are a part of a huge family. The food was delicious, they had vegan options – please confirm it with your server- and served quite large portions. We even got a dessert at the end. They have treats available for purchase and I saw many people coming in for their Boba. They offer lunch specials and the best thing is that they don’t close for lunch, so you don’t have to worry about finishing your meal fast if you stop by for a late lunch. Free parking lot around the restaurant. The restroom was clean and well maintained. Will be back 🙂

Visited Milk and Honey Café and it was such a satisfying meal!
We tried a mix of snacks and comfort dishes, and everything hit just right:

The Veggie Hotpot was super cozy – flavorful broth, lots of fresh veggies, and perfect for a chill day.
The Spicy Fried Shrimp had a nice crisp and real heat, while the Popcorn Chicken was crunchy, juicy, and addictive.
I really liked the Mushroom Noodle – earthy, savory, and comforting.
The Spring Onion Pancake was flakey and packed with flavor – perfect little side.

For drinks, we had:
Chocolate Milk Boba – rich, creamy, and a great dessert on its own.
Hawaiian Green Tea Boba – light, fruity, and refreshing!

It’s a fun spot with a big menu and good portions – definitely one of those places you’ll want to come back to and try more from!

What a warm, welcoming, authentically Taiwanese experience. From the karaoke videos playing to aunties encouraging you to eat more, and the friendly staff, we had a great experience. The stinky tofu was legit stinky, and the bentos were generous in size. I will definitely be back!

Authentic Taiwanese restaurant, located in northern Fremont in an unassuming, small shopping plaza. Beef noodle soup was flavorful, but it had too much noodles. The stinky tofu was bland, unless you use the sauce. The pig blood was interesting, but again needed the sauce or else was bland. Fast and friendly service. Small parking lot.

Wow. Surprise hit. Every single dish we had was stellar. The beef noodle, spicy schixhuan beef, “famous chicken” and green beans were all fantastic. A total hidden gem.

This is a cozy Taiwanese restaurant in Fremont. There were many families or couples or friends eating here during dinner time. The milk tea here is huge and the boba is super chewy, and the Taiwanese hot pots are big and are filled with interesting toppings and can be easily shared. The staff is also super nice and gave us sesame balls on the house.

I sincerely hope that the food for dine-in is better than the food they gave me for pickup, because I would not wish my worst enemy to eat it. The presentation looks like anyone who regularly eats panda express wouldn’t even find it appetizing.

Milk and Honey Cafe is by far one of the BEST Taiwanese restaurants I’ve been to by region — because to be honest, there aren’t that much Taiwanese restaurants left in the Bay Area, especially in Fremont. They’re owned by our very own District 1 Councilmember, Teresa — and have been such a staple part of the Ardenwood and North Fremont community (even people who live in Irvington and Warm Springs make the drive just to have such soulful food like Milk and Honey!).

The last time I went, we had to wait a teeny bit, but the wait wasn’t too long — maybe at maximum 10 minutes when the restaurant is FULL of patrons, especially on the weekends. The best time to avoid the restaurant is usually at 6:30pm (which is the peak time when most people get off or have most of their activities done).

Equally impressive is the cafe’s commitment to serving good food, with a menu that showcases a mix of classic and innovative dishes. Ingredients are fresh and locally sourced, guaranteeing both quality and flavor in every bite. The diverse menu offers something for everyone, from hearty breakfast options to delicious coffee, making it a favorite among locals and newcomers alike. Patrons often rave about the cafe’s signature dishes, which reflect meticulous attention to detail in both presentation and taste. At Milk and Honey Cafe, the combination of excellent hospitality and delightful cuisine ensures a memorable dining experience that keeps guests coming back for more.
