The food quality is fantastic. All the flavors blended nicely. We got the beef curry, fried beef with chilies, and the Ohn No Khao Swae. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be coming back.

The online order was slightly difficult to navigate but that might just be me. Will more than likely just call my order in ahead of time in the future.

The food was delicious. Excellent flavors. We got the Mont Hin Gar: national dish of Burma, catfish soup. Chicken curry noodle salad: Large tasty noodles with a yummy sauce and served with a bunch of small sides. Tea leaf salad: always a favorite of ours when we eat Burmese. Also the owner was lovely. You can really tell she loves sharing her high quality Burmese food with others. We decided the Mont Hin Gar was our favorite!
This is in an area with a bunch of food carts nearby as well.

Exceptionally tasty food. I love the twice fried chickpea fritters, they are super delicious and grain free to boot.

Owner is very friendly, service oriented and caring. Big thumbs up!

Food court vibe is ok; the artwork is cool

Their food was so good!! Easily one of my favorite places to eat at. We got the Ohn Hta Min With Beef Curry, Ohn- No-Khao-Swae, Nan Gyi Thoke, and Basil Seeds & Black Grass Jelly. We would totally get these dishes again (I in particular really loved the Nan Gyi Thoke), and since they’re near us, it’s going to be difficult to hold back

I will say that the food was a lil bit oily and salty, but just a little, and I think that’s characteristic of the cuisine in general. In my opinion, based on a few other Burmese places I’ve had in the past, this was actually the least oiliest I’ve had! I actually didn’t notice the oil until I reached the bottom of the bowl, and to be honest it doesn’t bother me at all—I just wanted to call it out for prospective eaters in case it doesn’t fit their preference or they can’t process the oil well (e.g. due to gallbladder removal).

Another thing to be aware of is that it is usually a bit longer wait for them to prepare and cook your food, so ordering earlier in advance by like 40 minutes would be a good rule of thumb. I didn’t mind since it’s close to us, and our food came piping hot when we brought it home! But just something to keep in mind if you want to come here for a quick lunch or have limited time.

We also had a bit of a mixup when I placed an order online, but they called right away to resolve it! They’re in the middle of their soft opening so their online menu doesn’t match their in person menu, but their menu will continue to expand next week! I look forward to trying all the dishes and coming back! I’m so happy that we have such good Burmese food near us now

If you haven’t tried Burmese food before, you should definitely give it a try!

Delicious Myanmar cuisine with awesome vegan options! I came to CORE food hall while I was waiting for my car to be done at the muffler shop next door, and was very happy to stumble upon Sandy’s.
