I’m from Atlanta GA & this was the best Thai I’ve ever tasted. The flavors all the way down to representation is Chef Ramsey approved …. I also love the hint of spice in the coconut soup & the chef was very nice & everything came out fast…

Such a perfect spot! Delicious food. Great service. We both tried things we’ve never tried before and were so happy and satisfied. Great flavors. We enjoyed it so much we left dinner, went to our show and then came back for dessert afterward! Highly recommend.

Amazing, all around! The menu is extensive (truly something for everyone) and has a great mix of classics and more innovative dishes. The prices are unbeatable. The portions are huge. The service is stellar. I can’t wait to enjoy the patio when it cools down a bit. And as if it couldn’t get any better… they have happy hour EVERY DAY. Wonderful addition to Deep Ellum!

The only reason this spot doesnt have ALL 5 stars is because it’s in Deep Ellum and it can be sketchy for some people.
The atmosphere is nice. The outside tries to incorporate the Thai culture. Inside is more sleek and calm – more towards the Deep ellum scene (still cute and comfortable).
The food was good.
The spice levels are moderate. We got 3 for both of pur dishes and it perfectly tied the food together – no need to be excessive unless you enjoy the burn.
The tom yum soup is hard for people to get right and this place got it perfect.
The curry portions are large so expect left overs or to share.
The staff was super nice and i do recommend visiting if you’re in the area and wanting some Thai food

Very nice atmosphere and nice portion sizes. The mussaman curry (spice level 1-5) and fried bananas were both amazing and i had extra curry to enjoy later. Large menu to choose from with good prices!
Definitely recommend checking this place out

My husband and I live in Deep Ellum so we’re always on the lookout for new openings. We also l o v e Thai food. So we were thrilled to walk by and find Zaza Thai opening! Today we had eaten dinner elsewhere but still had to stop by for some apps and dessert. We tried the spring rolls, spicy edamame (truly spicy!!), crab rangoons (omg so tasty), and mango sticky rice. Yummmm! We will be back probably weekly

So I was strolling through Deep Ellum today and noticed a new Thai restaurant that just opened. I told my wife, “Let’s give it a try!” The staff greeted us nicely and told us to sit wherever we liked good start. They brought out water with a slice of lime, which looked fancy, but it honestly just tasted like plain tap water.
Then the food came out… and that’s where the story takes a turn. The fried shrimp rolls were super tough, like they’d been refried from a previous batch. I was lowkey scared my jaw was going to cramp from how chewy they were. The curry fried rice was no better hard rice, weird texture, and tasted old, like they just mixed in reheated curry to cover it up.
I really wanted to like this place because it’s new and in a good spot, but the food just wasn’t it. The presentation was fine, but the taste? A horror movie. Definitely wouldn’t recommend I’d try another Thai spot instead. (It gave me diarrhea and came out like the curry )

We live two blocks over and saw this opened recently. We came for a quick lunch and the food was so yummy. There is Thai food and pho. There’s an option to choose any protein with most meals on the menu. For vegetarians/vegans they offer both soft and hard tofu which is amazing. We got the pad Thai and brown sauce broccoli. The rice and noodles were perfectly cooked. Crab rangoons and corn cakes were delicious. The restaurant is also beautiful and lively. There’s places to sit indoors and outdoors. They have other locations in dfw but this is the first one we have visited. The only downside was they were sold out of the mango sticky rice and they let us know they sell out quick. I’m glad to have this in our rotation in deep ellum.

CALL AHEAD! DON’T TRUST LISTED HOURS!!! In Dallas for 2 days, so looked for Thai food to celebrate my birthday. Looked up good Thai and this was certainly the place. Hours listed opening at 11am, so perfect!! Soooo excited and after an 30 min walk from hotel, arrived at this establishment at 12:45pm (on 12.18.25) and … it was closed. No one present, no sign of life. Unbelievable. Maybe it’s a Dallas thing, but it was a huge disappointment. First thought to give 1 star (reviews require a star rating), but we don’t want to impact their rating that harshly, so trying to play fair here despite the terrible experience (or, perhaps more accurately, lack of experience.) We ended up at Musume Sushi (with Harold serving us) and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND going there instead. I didn’t have my traditional Thai Yellow Curry birthday lunch, but I had some Thai curry soup with exceptional sushi and service. CHECK BEFORE YOU GO.
