You walk in and immediately smells like delicious bread. Everything is so fresh and made to order. The focaccia bread is so soft in the sandwiches and pizza. The service is top notch. Stephanie made our large group feel welcome.
The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and the property has a cute dog! We ended up buying several bottles of their house dressing and lavender products! This place is truly quality over quantity.
Highly recommend visiting!
Then we paid $4 for a decent serving of ice cream, which was chocolate pistachio from a creamery nearby. Unfortunately, the pistachios were whole, and pistachios are difficult to chew within ice cream, so I do not recommend that flavor. I’m sure the lavender honey flavor is the way to go with the ice cream. Although, the $2 cookie is probably huge and tasty, too.
The food that I paid $30 for I would have paid $38 to $41 for. I believe the owner of the restaurant could modestly increase prices without losing business. I know wine and olives are a major factor of the business and locality, but the food and service at Olive’s is good enough that the food can stand on its own at higher prices. The hostess/chef was friendly and engaging. We also ordered a bottle of wine and received a classy bucket of ice water for it.
The interior is clean and modern and spacious; there is an outdoor seating area that wraps around the building. There’s a space of fake grass that has cornhole boards set up, as well.
Food portions were on the small side, but the pizza and salad were extremely tasty!
