The staff treats you like family here. Totally loved the ambiance with soothing cafe style music and comfy booth seating. Plenty of food selection and excellent portions.
Service was excellent with our server checking in on us regularly and owners present to ensure things were to our liking.
French toast was light and fluffy. Gyro omelette was filling, creamy, and delicious. (Never had feta in my omelette before!) Would recommend you go here if you can make it!

While located by Charlotte Douglas International Airport, the restaurant wasn’t too busy, which made for a calm visit. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
I tried the hamburger steak cooked crispy, but the flavor wasn’t quite what I expected. The mac and cheese also wasn’t to my taste. Even so, I appreciated the convenient location and the relaxed atmosphere.

I’ve been coming to Mr G’s all of my life. I grew up down the street and my entire family ate here weekly. Within the past couple of years this place has went downhill. The food quality is awful, the staff doesn’t listen and the prices don’t make sense. Today I got a double cheeseburger combo with fries a tea and ranch. The ranch taste like Mayo in a cup, the lettuce on the burger is brown, the cup they give you is a kid size tea (and the lids don’t fit making it spill all over your car) then as I’m eating my fries I spot this guy. I’m just really upset that I wasted $13 for this.

You stand at the counter to order your food. Then you sit down and wait for them to bring to your table. My husband and son love the burgers. My son thinks the pancakes are just as good as a restaurant that specializes in them. I had cheese steak and I thought it was okay. My husband thinks it’s delicious. They give you a big stack of disposable napkins which is a huge bonus to me.

Ordered the grilled chicken salad to go. Service was fast and chicken was tender and well seasoned. Also I need their honey mustard recipe/supplier. It was soooo good! I’ll be back to try other things.

I grew up on Mr. G’s. I was highly disappointed today. First, how is a restaurant with a 99.5 sanitation rating open with no public access to restrooms. Secondly, I paid 5 dollars for onion rings that were purely breading in a ring. Not one had an onion. Lastly, the grilled chicken salad I loved and grew up on was too watery and did t have an adequate amount of chicken on it. Two ingredients were on the salad pickles and cheese. I will have a hard time coming back. Not the Mr. G’s of old.

Not what it used to be at all. Service has gone down. I repeatedly told the man in the phone no onions, He said okay. I asked one last time when I got to the counter no onions he said yes. I get my food drive back to work and find onions. I call back to get them to them to compensate me as I drove there on my lunch time and they refused to to do anything. He even claimed I never heard you say no onions after telling yes I heard you say no onions. Will never go back. Really disappointed.

Food was pretty good , could’ve been cooked a little longer but second experience having hair in my food so wasn’t satisfied… Customer service was friendly but could be better . Would but probably not going to eat here again .
