Bless the person somewhere on the internet who recommended the vegetarian thali. Not vegetarian, but I’m very very happy that I tried it. It’s a lot of food for 1 person, you won’t have enough tummy room for anything else. My first time trying Kheer; I like it! Hot Indian tea is nice in the winter.

We visited the town from the Bay Area and found India Cafe. We’re pretty picky about our Indian food, coming from a town with lots of options, and India Cafe absolutely exceeded our favorite place back home. The food was delicious, and the servers were very attentive. They helped ensure we ordered enough but didn’t overorder- a chronic issue in my family. They were also very sweet when our toddler and another child befriended each other and spent a little time dancing together up front. Also worth noting- the Naan is absolutely homemade on the spot. I cannot recommend it enough!

We ordered take out for a large group. The packaging was good. That is the only positive I can write . The taste was bland. This is not how Indian food tastes. One of the curries had no salt.

Very disappointed at this place. We always go here but this time the person on duty was rude and we asked (from special menu) to change from butter chicken to chana chicken and they said that they can’t since they only have butter chicken available. I told them to at least write on the menu what is available and what comes in that menu. IT CLEARLY SAYS 2 NON VEG ITEMS. As soon as I told them I will be giving review then they said oh yes we can change items.

This Indian restaurant has become my new spot for good Indian food. It was my first visit, and it turned out to be better than what I had expected. The place is clean, staff is courteous and caring, and the food quality is good and flavorful. We ordered the Veggie combination thali for two. The server made good recommendations, asked us of our preferences for the spice level, and was helpful in making choices. The food came to the table shortly, not very quickly, indicating that it was cooked fresh. The taste confirmed that. Quantity was sufficient, more than what we could eat.
The place got filled up for the lunch hour rush, and could see lot of orders going out for the delivery and take out.
Definitely coming back for dine-in or to take food for home.

Love this restaurant! My friends and I dine in and carry out regularly and the food is always delicious. My go-to order is the malai kofta and I appreciate that it always comes with a side of basmati rice included. That staff is always very friendly and accommodating!

Don’t go to India 4 U! If you’re looking for great Indian food and a solid imported beer(The Godfather), Indian Cafe is the place to go! Service was excellent as well, they accommodated my wife’s ADA needs and all extra requests!

Honesty the best place for Desi food all over Manteca & Stockton !! Food iz always fresh, delicious and well cooked..
