Came in on a Monday evening, and it was perfect! Had booth and table seats. Very clean, and great selection of subs salads drinks, chips, & yes…COOKIES! Sophie waited on us, and was friendly and knowledgeable about the sub selections. I love ❤️ their meatball sub and the cheddar bread makes it next level…meatballs are fat, white cheese is plentiful & the red sauce is the best. The (cold) Italian sub was delicious and the sweet tea is just right! Highly recommend coming to eat here or getting a sub to go! There are lots of cookie flavors to choose from, but we got our 4 faves! The specials are great, & the prices are too.

Mile High Turkey Sub is so good, I really enjoy the size, ratio of veggies and wonderful flavor of their subs. Tried their mac and pepper bowl too. That’s a fun mix of gooey Mac and cheese and lunch meat with spicy sauce. I love this place and it’s a great locals sub shop. Always support locals.

My coworkers and I decided to have a Philly-cheesteak blind taste test.
We called it Operation Liberty Steak. Our objective, “To liberate our tastebuds from inferior cheesesteaks”
We each picked a sandwich from one of the local area restaurants, and I chose Lenny’s.
I walk in to Lenny’s, explain what we’re doing, ask for a plain cheeseteak and said, “I need to you to put your foot in this”. Malissa, the woman working the register said, ” I’m going to make this one myself” and asked another worker to finish ringing me up. She went to the kitchen and went to WORK. I asked the woman who finished ringing me up if they by chance had some food grade gloves so we could slice up the sandwiches, I didn’t get her name but she was SOOOO SWEET. Not only did she give me two pairs of gloves, but she provided two different sizes, wrapped them in wax paper, and LABELED THEM BY SIZE.
A few minutes later Malissa hands me the order and says, “you’re going to win”.
Fastforward the the blind taste test. The rules were simple, it had to be a plain cheesteak, we tasted them blindfolded, had to guess where it came from, and rate it based on several categories.
The categories were:
Customer service
Bread quality
Flavor
We discussed the customer service prior to the tasting and Lenny’s was already pulling ahead because they were so fantastic to me.
Nobody accurately guessed Lenny’s when we tasted it but the flavor was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and got compliments from most of the “tasters”. We were actually terrible at guessing where the sandwiches came from. The only one I got correct came from a pizza restaurant and thats because it literally tasted like pizza, I think they use pizza crust dough for the bread and the pizza cheese on the sandwich but thats just speculation lol.
Anyways, out of 6 cheesesteaks LENNYS WON OVERALL. The customer service was amazing, the bread was soft and delicIous, and the flavor was savory and perfectly seasoned. One of my coworkers is a die-hard fan of a another restaurant so he prevented Lennys from being everyone’s top choice but he’s a hater and his opinion doesn’t matter.
I say all this to say, if you want to liberate your tastebuds from inferior cheesesteaks, GO TO LENNY’S.

BRING BACK THE FRENCH DIP!
We moved back to the area after a decade and I came back to Lenny’s because I loved the French Dip only to find out it was discontinued ~4 years ago. So sad. Can you bring it back? Even if it is for a short time as a special?? Please.

First time going to a Lenny’s. Staff was super friendly and it was genuine. Asked them for suggestions and they were really helpful. Had the Philly and the Club. Food was fantastic. I’ve eaten Philly’s from lots and lots of places all over the country where they said they were great but they never really are. This was a SPOT ON Philly. Can’t wait to be hungry again. The club was really good as well. Restaurant was very clean as well but didn’t hit the rest rooms. Everyone said goodbye to us when we left. We’ll be back for sure.
