This cafe is absolutely charming inside and outside. I loved the cute outdoor area. They have plenty of tables inside and outside. The cafe is beautifully designed and everyone is super friendly. Our lattes were delicious and leek croissant was amazing. I can’t wait to go back and try more goodies.

I was looking on my google search for nearby Cafe and this came-up. I love love love this cafe! I got cappuccino and chocolate croissant and it tasted delicious. The environment and decoration is lovely. I cant wait to head back again and try the salads! I highly recommend this cafe!

I was fooled by the ambiance and the 4.3 stars on google, but won’t be back.

– very expensive for quality
– food was disappointing:
La figue sandwich was $14.99 and was made of grocery-store quality ingredients, small, thrown together. The baguette was not fresh, the ham was disappointing. See photo. A sandwich can be small and simple if the ingredients are high quality but these were not.
The croissants (plain & chocolate) looked nice, but were no different than what I could buy at the store too. Too dense. No expected flakiness, pillowyness, classic buttery taste. The leek and parm pastry had solid flavors – this may have been the best thing.
+ Nutella banana crepe was good. Hard to screw that up.
+ ambiance is great – the counter, menu, dining area, decorative elements, plantings, bathroom all well put-together with clean white and dark grey.

Overall, from the menu, pricing and ambiance, I expected the food to be high quality and impressive, like a real French bakery. But it was nothing different than if I had I gone to the grocery store.

I am a big fan of French Market! My go to is usually a panini, but the baked goods, salads & coffee are all so delicious! I place my lunch order to-go, but the indoor & outdoor dining area is adorable, perfect place for a lunch date. So glad this place came to colts neck

Beautiful interior design & atmosphere. It feels very french cafe. I got the veggie burger. It was tastier than most veg burgers. It was HUGE. I also have to talk about how soft and fresh the bread/bun was …that alone was worth the price which was what stole the 5th star: the price. So expensive. The community is rich so I understand but it’s $$$.

Girls working there were very polite and helpful. We choose 2 different crepes, with the salted truffle fries to finish!!!! Very tasty, nice looking, and an overall A.

The croissants were great, but the croque madame was very disappointing. $15 for a small sandwich. The egg was pretty small and the inside was cold and dry. Eating out of a box with a plastic fork was a challenge.

The staff was awesome but the food was awful. I ordered the scrambled egg, ham and swiss crepe which comes with a side of dressed baby greens. The greens were mostly rotten with slimy lettuce and the crepe had no flavor and was so greasy. The ham looked like regular store bought sandwich ham. Plus I noticed the chef not using any gloves and wiping his noise while preparing the food. Very disappointing. Will not be back.

This beautiful french restaurant is a perfect oasis to relax and get a delicious latte. It’s light and bright making it a wonderful place to bring your lab top and get your office work done .
Enjoy the assortment of artisan desserts such as, croissant, muffins , beignet or cakes . They also offer panini sandwiches , savory and sweet crepes and variety of salads featuring as kale , endive and mixed greens . Try the truffle French fries!
The staff is friendly and nice and the quick service is terrific!
Aside from this location in Colts Neck they also have another location in the chic neighborhood of Rumson NJ
. AND the Newest that’s called Farmacie nestled in the Highlands .

They offer catering and also have great hostesses presents such as gourmet teas, chef quality salts , exotic olive oils. Choose pampering lotions and hand crafted soaps to spoil your people.

The pastries were sooooo fresh and craveable. Loved my cappuccino, it was perfect. Decorated beautifully. A few tables inside and it looked like some outside as well. [ I only wish they served your to stay drink in a ceramic or glass cup instead of a to-go. ]
