Because this restaurant advertises a full menu, we were under the assumption that this would be a family- friendly environment. We arrived at 12:30pm on a Saturday for lunch with our 1 and 2 year old in Feb (non-peak time of course). The restaurant has no high chairs. This was honestly the first time I’ve ever been to a restaurant that did not have high chairs. I totally respect if the goal of this place is a “no children” kind of vibe. Trying to hold an infant / toddler while attempting to eat a burger is not cute- so a heads up would have been much appreciated on the socials/ website etc prior to arrival. Burgers were overcooked, buns were hard. Jalapeño poppers on the other hand were delish. Waitress was very friendly. Not usually a review gal, but families deserve a heads up that this probably is not the spot and likely not worth the trip for the poppers.
They had a lot of trouble with the TV’s and had odd shows on. One person watching watching a football game on his phone because they couldn’t play more than 1 game at a time.
Lighting seemed a bit bright. Lots of live music that you don’t usually see in the area.
There’s no real sign so it can be hard to find. The view of the water is a gravel parking lot and there isn’t really outdoor space.
Didn’t eat although there is a full menu. Seems more of a late night hang out spot than a restaurant.
There were other components to the meal that were not enjoyable but I will end the review here. Wishing them luck and hoping they use feedback to fix the problems.
My go to burger place from now on.
Highly recomended- best smash at the beach.
I really had been wanting to try the food due to all of the rave reviews online. One review in particular was about how the Buffalo wings were the best that a Buffalo native has ever had outside of Buffalo, NY. I went in a couple of nights ago set on getting some delicious wings. 1st problem – no Pinot Grigio. 2nd problem – no Sauvignon Blanc. My 3rd choice because I despise Chardonnay was just an unsweet tea. Not an option. It wasn’t a great start but I still wanted the wings bad enough that I just ordered a sweet tea.
We ordered pretzel bites as an appetizer. They were way over done and crispy – not one was soft at all on the inside. We left the majority in the basket and the server did not ask if anything was wrong with them. The 1/2 pound of wings came out. There were 3 whole wings. I have never in my life ordered wings and gotten whole wings. I’m definitely not a fan of them. But if the sauce had been good and the wings themselves good, it would have been alright. Sadly, the wings were really crispy and did not have a lot of sauce or meat on them at all.
My date did like his food and one drink that he ordered.
I do like the atmosphere and location but I’m not sure I will go back.
