I am very disappointed in how LaPorsha behaved with me for simply asking a question. The menu price in the board is not what appears in your receipt. I understand now that companies pass their card acceptance fees on to the customer and that’s okay. But what isn’t okay is the curt, arrogant response by her. To be asked ‘ did you get a receipt? Then look at it, it shows that you were charged for using your card. I actually paid in cash. The young students face was totally taken aback by her attitude with me. So I decided that my business was not of value for their establishment, so I returned the chicken and drink, in which she lied and said I threw it at her, but the lid didn’t come off now was there any spillage of the drink at all. She only returned $20 even though I gave the young man $20.52. He even tried telling her that I was owed .52 cents but he realized he was not able to get through to her without him possibly being part of her wrath. I am fully aware that working in the service industry can be challenging. It is not an EXCUSE to behave in the manner that you did LaPorsha, ‘District Manager ‘ per what you said your title was. My hopes are that whomever is the Owner of this franchise, have a conversation with the your team that worked on 02/07/2026 around 3:15 to 4.

Went the the drive thru and waited at the order box with no response.. I pulled to the window and place an order 6 wings and fries cost 17$ and some change!!!! They were being very Weird employees coming standing in the drive thru window to block my view so I couldn’t see order being made. I thought this was strange it was about 9-930 pm when I visited the store. I ate the food even thought the kids that’ was working acting strange. I get home and hrs later I had food poisoning shitting and vomit all damn night they did something to food my or gave me old food. It’s dirty food make you sick and dirty kids working in there. Went to the hospital and was told it was food poisoning. Visited there on Feb4,2025. Do not go there food bad place always dirty looking and food is high priced and old food. I wish the manager go view the camera during that time so they can catch or see what was done to my food

The Health Board will be called. Went here last night. Only choose this location cause it was the closest. So we ordered a couple of hours everyone in the car was sick. Upset stomach, vomiting, & nausea. We couldn’t keep nothing down. Last night was living hell. This place needs to be closed down. I wish Marvin Zindler was still alive cause he would have definitely be getting a call from me.

Okay so the food is good. I’ve been to frenchys locations before so I like their food. The problem was the service. The guy at the front was so rude!!! Light skin with the braids. He was obviously HIGH, eyes were red. He was not in the mood to take orders. He did not clearly tell me that I was ordering wings ONLY when I asked him did I not order fries. He said no but I can add them for $4??? Why would I pay 4 when you can just charge me for the meal which is $1 more….. he got all my friends order wrong. Got an attitude cause we asked for napkins! Why are napkins not already in the bag?!?! He was so rude to everyone

Frenchey’s was suggested as a must try by work friends. I think this is the best fried chicken I have ever had. The breading is seasoned to perfection and cooked to a crispy crunchy finish. Even after delivery the chicken was still juicy and crispy. The sides could have been better… Collard greens were generally lacking flavor. Red beans and rice were flavored well but undercooked. The potatoes and debris gravy were ok but needed salt and pepper. Rolls and cornbread were both ok but nothing special. I would still suggest going to try the chicken. It is amazing!

This restaurant used to be a Houston/hometown favorite 10-20 years ago. But based on this recent visit, it has really gone downhill. I ordered the three piece special that included a drumstick wing and a thigh. They tasted extra salty. The fries were cold even though I had to wait 10 minutes for my order. The atmosphere was super basic and looked really old. There was a sit down area inside, but was not appearing enough to actually dine in. you have to order at a takeout window. The girl behind the dirty window was having a really hard time understanding my order. Not sure I’ll be back.

Chicken & french fries were great. Greens were HORRIBLE. They were dry, no flavor at all. My husband had red beans they were HIGHLY seasoned, borderline of OVERLY SALTY. Roll wasn’t fresh. However the jalapeño was juicy & my dr pepper was good. Their service was great. Just not used to dry greens, ever at Frenchys.

Man I’m disappointed. First time eating Frencheys in over 15 years. Chicken was below average, collards were great, I asked if the put pork in the red beans and rice, that was a lie… I’m good on ever coming here again

French’s use to be good. Got my order wrong and it was too far to come back. $20 for four pieces of chicken ( no bread), a small side of greens. A small drink and a jalapeño pepper ( which they left out. They originally left the greens out too).So disappointing because I went way out of my way. Not again.
