This ice cream is by far, the best we’ve had since moving to FL. All ice cream is made on the premises. We live in Ormond (2 hours away) and come here whenever we visit. Joy’s is so freaking good!! Every time we’re in town visiting family in Sebastian, we have to take the drive out to Joy’s at least once. Thankfully, we arrived close to closing, so there wasn’t a long line. The two gentlemen working were friendly and didn’t rush us in making a decision (there were so many flavors to drool over and taste). I felt froggy and decided to leap by getting two scoops (theirs are huge!): Dough Re Me & Marble Crunch. Absolute heaven. Dough Re Me is undoubtedly my new go-to.

Visiting Fort Pierce after a long day we looking for the best ice cream homemade maker and we founded Joy’s Ice Cream, the only thing is I have to wait like more than 20 minutes for make my order, but I don’t waste my waiting time because was an incredible delicious experience.

If I could, I’d give them six stars! First off, the service is incredible – even with the long line an hour before closing time, those three young men and one young women were on top of it!
We ordered Cherry Walnut, Black Forest, Mint Chip, and Lemon Sorbet. Each flavor is distinct and special in its own, and all are delicious! On top of the service, the ice cream is refreshing and silky. This is a great location with incredible service and even better ice cream that you must visit when you’re in Port Saint Lucie!
TIP: I would say that the second location on Port Saint Lucie Blvd is less busy than this one in the evenings, especially on the weekends, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t come here! Coming earlier in the afternoon would be your best bet from my experience.

The phrase “Are you kidding me!” runs through my mind every time I’m here. The available flavors, serving sizes, prices, and quality are fantastic. The employees are very friendly and offer tastings of anything you want. Maybe every ice cream place on the Treasure Coast is as great as Joy’s, but I’m not taking any chances. When you find perfection, why waste your time elsewhere.

We took the kids to the playground and followed up with an ice cream at Joy’s Ice Cream Plus. The shop is outdated and a bit unorganized, but the ice cream is delicious and there are so many flavors and waffle cones to choose from! They also have cookie dough, banana splits, ice cream cake and so many more handcrafted treats. Both myself and my husband, along with the boys loved their ice cream selection. I would definitely recommend giving this mom & pop ice cream parlor a shot. You won’t be disappointed with the excellent customer service, huge selection of flavors and the affordable prices. Keep in mind they have two locations, one off Midway and one off Darwin.
