I visited I Am Frozen Dessert Café on 143rd Street in south Overland Park for my birthday with my sister, my wife and the rest of the family, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable dessert stops I’ve ever had. Everything about this place felt unusual in the best way possible. The desserts are creative, unique, a little surprising and absolutely delicious.
We ordered the I Am Loopy, which tastes just like Fruit Loops in dessert form, and the I Am Delightful, a mango based creation with mango chutney and an unbelievably generous amount of whipped cream. The portions are huge, which you can see from the photos, and the flavor combinations are spot on. We also tried the honey toast with ube ice cream and it was incredible.
The interior of the café is cute, bright and inviting. Even though it looked like only one or two people were working in the back, the service was fast and efficient. Our food came out quickly, everything we needed was already available up front and the entire experience felt smooth and well organized.
This café is a gem and I’m already excited to go back. If you love creative desserts or just want something fun and different, I highly recommend checking it out.

Dessert for two please! Oh my! These desserts are very big, enough to share with someone. Their honey toast is delicious and the ice cream so tasty! They also have a good selection of Bobo t teas. This is a must try place.

Best dessert in KS! My bf and I have been back every weekend for a month because we are obsessed with the Honey Toast. We have three more selections left to try but the first few have been amazing so far. Our current ranking is :

This is a reflection of our personal taste! We felt I am wonderful is perfect for anyone wanting to try honey toast for the first time. It showcases the toast nicely and the ube ice cream adds a great touch with the crispy hot toast. The toast is definitely the highlight, it’s a huge piece of bread that’s been toasted to perfection and served warm with a honey drizzle. The cinnamon sticks are also a great options for first timers because it is very reminiscent of French toast sticks, but the bread is fluffier and the cream cheese dip is sweet and savory. I am yours and I am worth it didn’t make the top for us because the flavors were rich. However, both were still very delicious and paired nicely with the fruits and icecream. If you’re someone who loves decadent desserts these two options will be best for you ! All honey toasts with ice creams also came with a big pile of whipped cream which was perfect because I loved the warm toast with whipped cream and my bf loved it with ice cream. The added strawberry or fruit/chocolate toppings also added to the overall experience. Portions are huge and can easily be shared amongst 2-4 people. Staff is very patient and friendly as well. We drive almost 40 minutes to get here and usually come close to closing but everyone is still so helpful and kind! We look forward to trying the shaved ice cream in the summer, for now we’re going to enjoy the honey toast and work our way through the last 3 options.

Wonderful experience here! Welcoming and nice employees, delicious ice cream and yummy drinks! Atmosphere was nice and quiet for good conversations, they brought out my items to me and were very friendly, 10/10 would recommend and I’ll be back for more!

Everything is delicious. From the drinks to the desserts. I especially love the honey toast ube and coconut. Also the the coffee toast as well. So if you’re a coffee lover, try the coffee honey toast. The portions are big so I usually only get the half toast. Definitely a must try!

Wonderful customer service and everything we tried was absolutely delicious! We were helped by who I assume was the owner and she was so sweet and helpful. She helped us decide how much/what to get based on our preferences and went out of her way to bring us utensils and napkins without us even asking even though we could’ve gotten them ourselves. I typically don’t like honey so I wasn’t sure how much I’d like the honey toast but it was nice and sweet without an overbearing honey flavor. Delicious crispy edges with a light and soft inside. One piece of toast was plenty of food for two people as well which was very convenient! I got the coffee float which was so good and creamy with the perfect amount of coffee flavor. We are very lucky to live about a 5 minute walk from the shop and will definitely be coming back!

Had the pleasure of visiting this place for the first time, and it did not disappoint.
My spouse and I shared the “I Am Wonderful” toast, and it lived up to its name. The ube ice cream was creamy and delicious, while the toast itself was warm, flavorful, and satisfying in every bite.

Absolutely loved this ice cream shop!
We tried the coffee, chocolate, and coconut flavors to go – all were delicious with the perfect amount of sweetness. The texture was creamy and rich without being too heavy. We’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommended!

The coffee bubble tea was the best I’ve ever had, it tastes like Vietnamese coffee and honey. The toast is great, the ice cream was too sweet.
