Cozy setting for French fare such as mussels plus other cafe-style eats along with beer & cocktails.

Came here for lunch around 12:25 on Saturday during a day trip to Palm Springs with my girlfriend. We made a reservation through OpenTable, although it was not really needed since there were plenty of tables still open. There’s seating inside and outside, but we decided to sit inside. We were given menus and asked about drinks shortly after, which we just did water. The ice water came in a pouring bottle and replaced quickly as we finished the first bottle. For food, the waiter explained the specials, which we went with the Soup of the Day for an appetizer. We also did six Escargot, Grilled Chicken and Penne Pasta, and a pound of Moules Frites in Garlic & Cream. The Soup of the Day and Escargot came out quick and fresh. The Soup of the Day was a Garlic Tomato soup, which was delicious. The Escargot had good flavor and cooked right; was not chewy at all. The Grilled Chicken and Penne Pasta was okay. The chicken was cooked well and was still tender and moist. The Moules Frites was cooked right as well. The Frites (Fries) were crispy and came with ketchup, mayo and spicy mayo dipping sauce. I would say it’s close to par with the French cuisine I experienced during my travel. I would come back for more if I ever visit Palm Springs again.

Dinner at Pomme Frite was nothing short of exceptional. My partner and I shared two pounds of mussels, the nightly special rack of lamb, and the pork shank and we finished every single bite with zero regrets. Every dish was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The cocktails were outstanding, the service was warm and attentive, and the candlelit outdoor patio made the whole evening feel incredibly special. Truly a flawless dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

The Valentine dinner here was very disappointing!
$85 per person for a set three-course menu. After the appetizer, we waited for more than one hour for the entrees. Then another long time for the desert. A lot of customers waited even longer. We remained patient but some people started to get upset about the delay. People may have other arrangements after dinner and if it takes 2~3 hours to get your food, it would be a horrible experience.
As for the quality of the food, the deserts are excellent. However, most of the seafood dishes let us down. The sea bass tastes a bit too fishy and greasy. The clam & mussel is not tasting good either. Duck is OK.
Overall, very disappointing valentine dining experience. Hope they do better next year

We had Christmas dinner here while on our honeymoon and everything was just divine. The baked brie was fantastic, as was the artichoke. For our entree, I had the Chateau stake and it was cooked perfectly, my wife had the tenderloin medallions with prawns which she loved. It was so good we are going back for brunch today. Definitely a must place to eat anytime we are in town.

Came here last night for dinner and had a fantastic time. The service was great and the atmosphere was very laid back and fun. We were out during the market which added to the fun I believe. We had the goat cheese and beet salad which was amazing. The hanger steak and I had the special which was the Couscous Royale. Needless to say it was very good. I highly recommend!

a MUST TRY : This is hands down the best French restaurant we have discovered in California (as a French couple) where authenticity meets with greatly cooked food for affordable prices. You can savor true French and Belgian cuisine (rack of lambs with gratin dauphinois, duck confit, carbonade, navarin etc.) perfectly matched with a selection of up to 36 Belgian beers. No other so-called French restaurants in the area even come close.

I love liver and onions, so if I go to a restaurant and it’s on the menu, I order it. This was by far the BEST I have ever had. The liver was cooked to perfection and served with very tender onions and cooked apple slices. My husband had the boneless short ribs which were so tender that he didn’t need a knife. The beer and wine lists are quite extensive and it’s very impressive that they serve the correct glassware with each type of beer. Server, Candice, was very pleasant and attentive. We have been in Palm Springs for a week and this was our favorite meal of the entire trip.

We had a nice evening after being reseated to inside of the restaurant and away from some of their patrons talking loud fueled by beers. Honestly their food was very good, although wife didn’t particularly enjoy her entree. We liked the drunken mussels (1 lbs), the beef stew (cooked in beer), crispy salmon filet in Bernaise sauce, and the dessert trio. Definitely recommend!
