They’ve only been open for 2 months, and they did a fabulous job remodeling the restaurant. Service was friendly, but could have been more attentive. The menu is terrific, with something for everyone. We started with Shrimp Soup Dumplings, Entrees were Black Pepper Beef and Roasted Duck. For dessert we ordered Egg Custard Tarts. Everything was delicious. Would Recommend.
Yes, we keep coming back. We keep adding pictures of the new things we tried.

Outstanding food – dim sum all day, made fresh to order. Each dish came out piping hot. The skin on the rice noodle rolls and shrimp dumplings were authentic and thin, topped with a delicious sweet soy sauce. The chive dumplings were enormous and flavorful. The char siu buns and char siu itself are also flavorful, moist, and top notch. I especially enjoyed the jelly desserts – so refreshing, light, and unique. Service was also fast and excellent – they were so attentive to our table. You also can make reservations here. Small parking lot was easy to use. There is no sign facing the road so it’s hard to find – they should add more obvious signage. I def want to come back!

Another great local spot, enjoyed some delicious dim sum here: Shui Mai (Pork & Shrimp Dumpling), Fried Crab Meat Cheese Wonton, and some Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll. All were excellent, served fairly quickly with friendly service. Very affordable, this generously portioned meal cost me about $20. Place was busy and buzzing on a late Saturday morning, good sign for this newish spot.

We wenr to Corner Bites to have a few dim sum dishes. They were all good but the shu mai and beef chow fun were the standouts. The beef chow fun is one of the best that I have eaten in the area. Given that I have eaten at no fewer than a dozen Chinese or Taiwanese restaurants in the area, I have a decent sample size on which to base my review. The dim sum dishes are not served in the traditional way so there is no cart. They are made to order. While the food is a bit pricier than the area average and there is no sign on the street to see where to turn if you are headed north, I recommend Corner Bites if you are in the area.

The recently opened Corner Bites has brought an exciting new dim sum option to Rockville. Blending classic dishes with new creations, the restaurant was buzzing with energy. We found it completely packed and had to wait for a table on our visit on Saturday. Our feast included beef tripe, chicken feet, shrimp and soup dumplings, fresh and tender roasted pork and perfectly flaky baked barbecue pork pastries—my personal favorite.
It’s under staffed. Waitstaff had to hustle back and forth, but couldn’t provide enough service to every table.
It’s a nice addition to the local dim sum fix. I can’t wait to try some new dishes!

Such a great place for dim sum.
This place has all the dished you expect at any dim sum place.
You order by letting the server know the dishes you want.
Parking is a bit limited so be aware.
Based on the clientele and the level of filled seats during lunch, this place will become a neighborhood favorite.
Enjoy!

Best Cantonese cuisine and dim sum I’ve had in the area. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and authentic with generous portions and friendly service. Look forward to coming back!

We visited Corner Bites today for the first time and were very impressed both by the fresh, high quality dim sum as well as the attentive and communicative service. We can confidently say this is now our go-to dim sum in the DC area, and are very happy that it happens to be very close to home for us.
I’ve been searching far and wide for a baked pork BBQ bun like the one at Corner Bites, absolutely filled with good quality BBQ pork with just the right balance of delicious baked bun and a hint of sweetness on top. The har gow were also top quality and full of shrimp. These were our two favorite items on this visit, but we are looking forward to returning and trying many more items.
As mentioned, the servers are all very friendly and willing to answer questions/provide explanations as needed. The prices are all very reasonable, as well.
#1 dim sum in the DC area!

I read about this new restaurant and decided to give it a try. It certainly lived up to the good reviews. It was a Sunday morning, and the place was packed. Service was very good, even with the crowd.
I’m a big fan of comfort food and really miss the wonton noodles and congee places in New York’s Chinatown. There aren’t many places like this in the DC area. This restaurant comes pretty close with its dim sum, noodles, and congee.
We ordered shrimp and beef rice noodle rolls, wonton noodle soup, pineapple buns, and minced pork with Century Egg congee. Everything was delicious.
The menu has all my favorites. But I can only eat so much in one visit. I have to come back to try more of the dim sum, noodles, and other dishes.
Parking – It was Sunday morning when we visited. The parking lot was packed and the spaces were tight. Next time, we probably would go on a weekday since we have the flexibility.

While visiting my brother in North Bethesda, Maryland, he took us to Corner Bites in Rockville for some dim sum—and what a wonderful surprise it turned out to be! We walked in hungry without any expectations and left completely full, happy, and impressed.
This was truly some of the best dim sum and Asian cuisine my family and I have ever tasted. The ambiance felt homey and welcoming, making it the perfect place to enjoy a comforting meal. The staff members were friendly, efficient, and attentive, which made the experience even better.
We ordered the shrimp noodles, steamed Chinese broccoli, shrimp chow fun, and beef balls—every single dish was absolutely delicious and full of flavor.
If you’re ever in Rockville, MD, do yourself a favor and stop by Corner Bites. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!
