We went here a couple weeks ago on our trip to Galtinburg and it was soooo good! I can strongly recommend the crab soup, caesar salad and the prime rib! The service was great as well, also it’s in a calmer part of Gatlinburg in my opinion which really helps! So glad we decided to stop by, I do also advise making reservations!!

The steaks are phenomenal. We ordered the Ribeye and they were both excellent. The scallops were cooked well, the sauce on top is too much. We had a wedge salad, which was way over dressed, but overall good. Next time I would ask for dressing in the side. The rolls and butter and shift and sweet. It’s a casual setting and welcoming by the staff.

Make sure you stop here! This is always our best meal. Kelly was fabulous, very attentive.
We had the taters for our starter. They were delicious and I forgot to take a pic. ‍♀️.
I had the horseradish-Parmesan Filet with Sweet Potato. Oh wow! Delicious .
Jason had the same but with mashed potatoes. They were delicious too.
Make sure you try the brown butter for your sweet potato and rolls. It is fabulous.
We always arrive before they open and there is always a line. So I recommend arriving early if you do not want to wait.

I absolutely adore the location near the creek. It was a gorgeous day! The wait was only 15-20 minutes on a Sunday, which was great. Our steak was just okay. I ordered a medium-rare steak, but it was well-done. But hey, I’m not going to throw it away! Our sides weren’t fresh. The fries were cold and stale, and the brussel sprouts were a bit burnt than usual. The dinner rolls were doughy and needed more time in the oven. We barely got refills. I don’t know, I just didn’t feel very welcome. But the scenery outside was beautiful, so that made up for it. We read the reviews and thought it would be a great place, so maybe they just had a bad day on this day. I wish them the best!

Amazing meal here. We were told it would be an hour+ wait, but were seated after 20 mins so not too long. Our server, Huntr was patient and informative, made it a fantastic experience. The steaks were cooked perfectly. Great cocktails as well.

I loved this steak place, what a hidden gem. The atmosphere is very western, rustic themed. The roles with honey butter and starters were delicious, but the El Presidente Porterhouse stole the show! Excellent flavor and char! Ours came out a perfect and smoky rare.

We had dinner at the Alamo on 11/15/25 around 6:30 pm and was told to expect a 1 hr wait. While I had a drink at the bar watching the Ala-Ok game, we were pleasantly surprised when our wait time ended up being closer to 30 mins. While the bartender was very friendly and efficient making my drink, I was disappointed in paying 10.00 for a drink that came in basically a large shot glass, had partially melted ice and tasted like all coke and no bourbon, the service was very fast even though the bar was crowded. Once seated, our waiter Keith took our drink orders as well as explained a bit of the menu. Kudos to Keith…very friendly, professional and made sure we were taken care of. His service was definitely a highlight of the evening and he should be commended for his efforts. Our salads arrived quickly…we both had a mixed green salad, mine with Bleu Cheese and wife had Ranch. Both salads and dressing were very good. Personally I recommend the Bleu cheese…really good! Shortly afterwards our entrée selections arrived. I had the 8 oz filet ordered medium with mashed garlic potatos while Steph had the New York strip ordered medium. While both steaks were exceptionally tender, both were also lacking flavor. Neither steak was bad, but I expected more flavor from a wood fired filet and Steph had to actually add salt to her strip for flavor. Neither was bad, just not what the hype led us to believe we would be receiving. Her baked potato and my mashed potatos, while good, were nothing special. Dinner rolls were good, but really about like purchasing bag rolls from your local grocery. Meal was just ok, but not what we are accustomed to for a high end steak house. While we would probably choose another steak house in Gatlinburg, this was not a terrible experience and again, the service was outstanding. Oh yeah, should you decide to visit, try the Alamo Steak sauce provided on the table. While I dont normally use steak sauce, I admit this one was very good.

We were very disappointed with our recent dining experience. The prices are on the higher end, so we expected both quality and service to match. Unfortunately, neither did.

Every steak at our table was cooked incorrectly. Requests for well-done steaks were not honored, and medium steaks came out extremely rare—very red and undercooked. None of the meals were served as ordered, which was frustrating given the cost.

When bringing to their attention that even the pork chop was under cooked (which can cause sickness) we were told that medium was a normal standard for all meats.

Equally disappointing was the service. Our server showed little empathy when we expressed concerns. We were never offered drink refills, and once it was clear we were unhappy with our meals, no one returned to check on us or offer a solution.

We understand that mistakes can happen in any restaurant, but what matters is how they’re handled. In this case, there was no effort made to correct the issues or make things right. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this restaurant if you expect your steak to be cooked as requested

Absolutely best steakhouse in Gatlinburg! This was our first visit and we will be back. There was a wait for a table but it was worth it. Several options on the menu for meals and drinks. The atmosphere was inviting and classic to their theme.

I absolutely love this place. One of the reasons we chose to return to this area for vacation this year was because of their amazing food.

We ate here twice while in the area for the week. I got the filet both times and it was perfect. Husband had ribeye and chop steak and he said both were very good. As always, the rolls and butter were amazing. Service is also always on point. Definitely recommend!

Still great as always! (2/26)
