The Drift Bar is such a super cute and trendy spot! We stop here for pre dinner drinks in the summertime and it’s great. The atmosphere is fun and laid-back, the staff is friendly and the drinks are on point. Definitely a must try place!

Great atmosphere. Food and drinks, not so great. I feel like the prices are insane because it’s on the beach but you don’t get what you pay for. The food was okay. Seemed underwhelming and maybe even frozen? Espresso martini and other drinks were not good- Limes were brown. Again, amazing staff and great location.

I’ve been coming here for years, and didn’t notice they have done a full renovation. The place is absolutely beautiful now! We sat outside. Great relaxing place right off the beach for breakfast. Atmosphere and music were relaxing and service was good. The peanut butter chip pancakes were great! You get your moneys worth, which is hard to find in LBI. Even if you don’t stay at the hotel, the restaurant is great

The Drift Bar is a beautiful space, but unfortunately, that’s the only positive thing I can say about it.

The service was awful — the bartenders were more interested in chatting with their friends who came to visit than serving customers. It was nearly impossible to get a drink, even while sitting at the bar.

As for the food, my husband ordered the crabcakes, which were a total letdown. $20 for three tiny bites served on a metal tray with zero presentation (see photo). For that price, you’d expect at least a garnish or something that shows a little effort.

It’s clear the focus here is more on style over substance. Would not recommend and definitely won’t be returning.

Drift beach bar is my number one place to go I love my friend Elise she is the best bartender on the island I think of her as family. The food is amazing I wish I could take more pictures to share but I’m always so hungry that I eat it all so fast. Drinks are great and reasonably priced. Drift is the best kept secret of LBI right on the water. love you guys at drift. We love you ivy, Joanne, and kat. too

I was very disappointed with our experience. It had been a couple of years since we last dined here. When we arrived, I realized the menu had changed. As a vegan, I am used to most restaurants being accommodating. Having been told that they still serve hummus, I asked if the kitchen could make a hummus and veggie sandwich. The answer I received was the kitchen was too busy. I got the impression that nobody could be bothered. With so many people with dietary restrictions, I would have expected more flexibility with a simple ask.

Great location for lunch. Some parking in fro t of Restaurant. Great bar area.. the place was renovated during the winter. They did a nice job

Food was very good. Had the tuna bowl and my bf had cod fish and chips. Both fresh and delicious.

The tuna bowl was a bit different with all the items displayed on plate. Very light portion. Expensive lunch for two. I guess expected in LBI.

I’d give 2.5 but definitely not three stars. First time visit after coming to LBI for 12 years and I was not impressed. Made a reservation for my family of 5 for 4:15. Seated promptly only to end up next to the bar with 15+ obnoxious golfers telling putting war stories. Completely ruined any sort of experience. Meanwhile the entire restaurant was empty. Seating made no sense, when it’s my wife and 3 kids under 11. Burgers were fine, drinks and apps were fine. I ordered the battered cod (fish and chips let’s not be pretentious) and I threw them out. Literally fish sticks. Soggy tasted and smelled strongly of fish (that’s bad) and I did not want food poisoning so right in the bin. French fries were pretty good though and the servers were good and apologetic. Have to say I will not be coming back again and I recommend everyone else stays away.

Service was very good here and the restaurant has good vibes, but there’s a limited menu and my food wasn’t to very good. I requested the ribe eye medium rare, but it’s about 1/4” 3/8” thick and when grilled flipped three times and re-orientated twice for the crossed burn marks, it’s never going to be medium rare. It came out well done.

Had lunch and drinks with another couple. Service was fast and attentive. Location and decor superb. Food was fine, and priced where you might expect for the location. It has it’s own beach access, so we were able to go out for a walk and come back. Not crowded for mid summer lunch on a Monday. Great afternoon hanging with friends.
