We stopped here on the way back from the airport feom picking up my son on his vacation. A nice, fun, family dinner. Well, the food was good and the service was decent enough. Our server only came over once, so, I have little to say about her. She didn’t seem mean and they were not too crowded.

This particular day, the food was HORRIBLE AND UNSEASONED! Didn’t even finish 1 plate , left right afterwards. The cheesecake was good tho. I also notice they have some type of red preservatives on the fresh strawberries. So you won’t know if they’re mildly or not because it so much red preservatives on it, i have a pic of that… make sure you zoom in

Even though it was very crowded the service from the employees remained consistent. My server Rodie was very attentive and has a nice spirit. Even all the way to the back by the restrooms I asked for assistance and I received it with no problem and a smile . The crew from Saturday Jan 17th definitely pushed through the hussle and bussle and the kitchen staff kept the food replenished . Great job – been a customer for over 25 years

The price was affordable, but the quality of the food was poor. Most of the meat was salty. The place could be cleaner, and the food needs more flavor. The salad bar looked messy and unclean and there were only a few options for fruits.

An all day operational buffet throughout the day. We went in for brunch on a Saturday and it was moderately busy. Their prices are very reasonable for the huge spread of delectable food. Loves the fried chicken, fish and shrimps. The protein spread is extensive. The desert counter is a spread for the sweet toothed and some ice cream machines for self serve. Their salad, pasta and pizzas, the rice varieties, all were excellent in taste and the best part was the transparent preparation areas.

I recently visited Golden Corral Buffet & Grill in Stockbridge, GA, while in town and was looking forward to indulging in a buffet spread. Overall, my experience was a mixed bag. The food quality ranged from decent to hit-or-miss, which is common for buffets, but I had some standout items and some disappointments.
Let’s start with the highlights: the ice cream was, as always, a crowd-pleaser! I also enjoyed the salad bar and the sweet potatoes, which were flavorful and well-prepared. The baked potatoes were another winner, and the rolls were soft and fresh. The fried shrimp with cocktail sauce was a nice touch, too.
However, I did encounter several letdowns. The steak was surprisingly tough, making it hard to enjoy, and while the mashed potatoes were thick, the dark brown gravy didn’t suit my taste. The macaroni and cheese, greens, and green bean casserole were definitely not up to par, and I found the cabbage to be unappetizing. Cheese pizza was decent enough, but it didn’t stand out.
On the dessert front, the peach cobbler was delightful, especially when paired with ice cream. The sweet potato pie was also good, though it was very cinnamony. Unfortunately, the cheesecake didn’t impress me at all.
Our server, Jesse, was accommodating and attentive with drink refills, but there were times when I felt she could have been a bit more proactive. The total cost for two people came to $44, which included tax—a reasonable price for a buffet.., I guess.
One major downside was the state of the restrooms. The ladies’ room had a very unpleasant odor, which was quite off-putting, while the men’s restroom was in much better shape. It’s clear that the cleanliness of the facilities needs some attention.
Overall, while there were some enjoyable dishes and a friendly server, the inconsistencies in food quality and the restroom situation left me feeling underwhelmed. If you’re in the mood for a buffet, Golden Corral might hit the spot, but be prepared for some misses along the way.

Customer Service was excellent. Food was decent. However, this location is due for a major upgrade. The carpet needs major cleaning and it’s just time for an upgrade when you’re in the food industry you have to be conscious of ensuring the environment is just as clean as the food.

Today I joined my fellow retired AFRD friends in Stockbridge for breakfast. Golden Corral was crowded, and rightfully so , the food was fresh and tasty. The only issue was that they only had 1 person making omelets. That line was ridiculous. Management is wrong for not providing more Omelet stations. 30 minutes of waiting is unacceptable. Now I am easy to please. The available eggs, along with other breakfast favorites, were abundantly plentiful and good. I see why it is so popular. Fix the Great Omelet issue. Today’s Omelet was the best they ever prepared for me.
