Amazing food, at this casual hole in the wall next to Tom Thumb. The bbq chicken is super tender, the short ribs are great and so is the bbq beef. Mac salad and rice are typical. Sauces are very good. Not super fast, but great service!

Nice staff, fast service, and I will be back! I got the chicken teriyaki mini plate and coconut shrimp mini plate so I could get a small amount to taste. The portion is actually nice for the mini plates and may use them for meal prep later. Defeinitely want to try other things on the menu when I get the chance. Probably one of my favorite places the last few years, they menu has expanded over time but the quality is always there.
Poke Bowl – Fresh fish & we asked for the spicy sauce on the side. Has a great kick without it being too spicy. We actually dipped our musubi & other food in it, lol.
BBQ Beef Mini – Sweet & juicy, really flavorful. The mac salad here is always on point, not too much mayo & not greasy like other places. The minis are such a huge portion!
Was sad they don’t have kahlua pork anymore, but their staff said it just wasn’t in much demand to keep on the menu.
Their staff is friendly, restaurant is clean. It’s small but can still seat a good amount of people. I always look forward to coming here!

The macaroni salad and rice were meh. Garlic shrimp and beef short rib were the only items that wowed me. However, one of the issues I had with the beef short rib is certain parts were chewy to the point I had to spit it out. I was not a fan of the loco moco or chicken katsu. The loco moco gravy didn’t have any flavor that would add to the unseasoned meat patty. The chicken katsu had thin pieces that were cooked hard towards the edges. One item I will return for is the garlic shrimp. The customer service, price point, and everything I selected was decent. The establishment was clean and I enjoyed the katsu and teriyaki sauce. If you’re a UTA student ask if they still offer a discount.

I recently dined in with Halo as a first time guest and I can confidently say that it won’t be my last time! Friendly service was provided! The atmosphere is clean and inviting. The food is packed with flavor and made FRESH! They even offer “mini-meals”! These meals are more than enough! I had the chicken katsu along with the shrimp katsu, the spring-rolls and the BBQ chicken musubi! Everything was so delicious. I can’t wait to return and try the other menu items.

AMAZING!! Good prices and great portions. We had poke bowl, Beef Short Ribs & BBQ Chicken combo and the Vegetables Saimin. Everything was delicious. The girl at the cash was also very friendly and polite. Definitely worth going to.

I have been here at least once a month for the past 6 months. All I can say is that you have got to try it! The poke bar is more than a deal! The servers walk you through their “make your poke bowl.” You get the choice from a lot of veggies, as well as all the protein that makes poke what it is today. Maybe I’ll see you there one day! Lol

WOW!!! This food was AMAZING!!! We ate here for the 1st time and loved every bite! The staff were patient and friendly as we tried to navigate the menu, and our portions were huge. Highly recommend this place. Casual fast food dining room kind of in the style of Panda Express.
