We had an amazing experience at Shaaz Restaurant! The food was absolutely excellent — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Every dish we tried was delicious and full of authentic taste.
The service was just as impressive. Ali took great care of us and was incredibly helpful, attentive, and friendly throughout our visit. He made sure everything was perfect and made us feel very welcome.
Highly recommend Shaaz Restaurant for both outstanding food and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be coming back!

What a great little restaurant !! We had an absolutely delightful meal and thoroughly enjoyed the awesome hospitality provided by the attentive, polite and very efficient SUPRIYA.
We ordered the following:
1. Mutton Marag soup – wonderfully creamy with just the right amount of pepperiness
2. Chicken 65 – one of the better versions ‘ve had
3. Chicken Majestic – was overshadowed by the Chicken 65
4. Chicken Lollipop Masala – A tad on the sweeter side
5. Mutton Haleem – great consistency and flavour. It was served with complimentary naan which was nicely thin and crispy
6. Kaju Paneer Biryani – redolent with masala, reminded me of my usual order of “double masala” biryani in Hyderabad
All in all, it was an experience to savour and I’m glad that we finally got here. The restaurant isn’t very big but is nicely furnished and the washrooms were clean. There is more than adequate parking in the strip mall.
The standout, however, was the service. It was indeed exemplary. Kudos to the staff and management.

Had a fantastic meal at Shaaz!
We tried the Mandi, which was flavorful and well-cooked. The Garlic Naan was fresh and paired perfectly with the Paneer dish. To top it all off, the Rasmalai for dessert was the perfect sweet finish. Great food and definitely worth the visit!!!

I recently visited Shaaz restaurant, even though it’s famous for non veg items I ordered paneer Kaju masala Mandi and I was surprised by the flavours. We also ordered aloo tikki chaat which was decent and irani chai was good.
Even though restaurant was busy we got seat immediately, order took some time to arrive.
Its really close to my place in Markham but I didn’t visit it earlier, now I would like to try their other items like Biryani, Tikkas, Curries and breads.

Awesome place for Indian food! We tried a lot of their items, I was only able to get pics of two items. Their Mutton Margh soup is amazing! I got their Guntur Mandi, it was so flavorful and spicy, highly recommended! Garlic naan is so soft and nice. Please open a location in Durham! Beautiful interior

Visited Shaaz Restaurant in Markham and absolutely loved the food! I tried the Mandi and the Ghee Roast Chicken Biryani—both were incredibly flavorful and truly delicious. The biryani had the perfect aroma and spice balance, and the mandi was tender and tasty. A great spot for anyone craving authentic, yummy dishes. Highly recommended!

Came for my dad’s birthday in December, ordered tons of food and all of it was delicious! The manager came over and introduced himself to us, and our waitress was very attentive. Great experience all around! I will be coming back!

Tonight was our third time having a wonderful dinner experience here! We’ve tried different items every time and we’ve never been disappointed! Great food…. And the service was amazing as they are always happy to explain many of questions surrounding their large selection of yummy options!!!

Came here for iftar buffet and was pleased with our overall experience. I’ve been to Shaaz Scarborough before so knew what to expected in terms of flavor. The seating was in the adjacent section for buffet which was more of a hall but the regular dining portion was nicely set-up.
The buffet wasn’t extravagant but had a good mix of items. There were good iftar assortments, salads, samosa chaat and pakoras. They provided haleem for each guest but i really liked the chicken 65 from their starters. Their gravies were quite nice and paired perfectly well with fresh garlic naans. Personally it was the highlight of the meal for me. The chicken biryani wasn’t to our liking. For desserts there was kaddu ki kheer, shahi tukda and gulab jamun.
Overall decent affair and very reasonably priced. I will most likely be coming to Shaaz again to try more from their menu.
