A friend suggested this place for the Chicago deep dish; although it was delicious, after eating a slice I noticed hair baked into the pie. I sent them the video and pictures. The owner was immediately rude and was firm on no refunds, saying I had to bring it back and they would remake it.
The hair baked in was disgusting and turned my stomach, I definitely did not want them making another. I understand, “no refunds” but when you give someone pizza with hair baked through 3 of the slices, you should just return the payment on GP.
But, to be rude about it was just insane.
I don’t suggest dealing with this place…
Edit: Since the derelict responding thinks I have time to write, “BS” and make things up, I added the original text messages and the receipt from my very real purchase. I called the store to tell them about the pizza; the female that answered asked me to text her the pics/videos I had, and she would reach out to whomever she needed to and get back to me. That was the response….doesn’t matter if you remember seeing the pictures or not. I cropped the phone number off to protect the employees number.
So no, no one had to pay me to lie, as stated in the response to my review; be sure to show your lawyer that as well….

I ordered a traditional NY Style medium cheese pizza for carry out. I was so impressed! The vibe inside looks nice & calming. Definitely a traditional NY style imo fairly priced it’s amazing to know I won’t have to drive all the way to Charlotte for good food! Compliments to the Chef keep up the good work

I wouldn’t leave a one star review if it wasn’t for the fact that when my friend complained about the pizza falling apart the owner called and cursed her out. All he had to say was sorry but we don’t do refunds but instead had to have an ego breakdown.
I’ve owned multiple businesses and would never treat customers like that! Customer service is half the battle with a good restaurant and you suck at it!

I was driving through this town and decided to Google pizza places near me so I called this place and asked about their pizzas. The pizzas are alacart so you pay for every topping added to a cheese pizza. They have 4 vegetables and about the same number of meats to offer. 2 large pizzas was $56. I had 1 topping added to 1/2 of 1 of the pizzas and 4 toppings added to the other pizza. Both were thin crust. When we arrived to pick up there was a sign in the restaurant that stated Tuesday night take out special is 18″ one topping comes with 10 wings so I asked if the wings came with our order a d was told no it was for dine in only and beers are included. I showed her the sign that says tues takeout has 10 wings included and she said no we have to let them know when we place the order.

My family recently tried Reginella Italian Pizza, and it was pretty disappointing.
I ordered the deep dish pizza and it was easily the worst part of the meal. The dough was undercooked and very doughy, and the sauce tasted old and off. It was hard to enjoy even a slice.
The only good thing we had was the meatball sub, which was actually really good. But for a pizza place, the pizza itself was a big letdown.
Update: I originally tried to write a somewhat nicer review, but the owner seems to get defensive about any criticism, so here is the honest version. Little Caesars has a better deep dish pizza, and it costs a lot less than Reginella’s.

Best Chicago style pizza in the Charlotte area!
From the decor to the servers, Reginella’s has a cozy, homey vibe that makes it feel very welcoming, just like its parent restaurant. Prices are great for the amount of food you’re getting.
The Chicago style pizza was good! Rich sauce paired with good quality mozzarella, on top of fluffy crust that still has a nice crunch (and surprisingly little flop). Only nitpick I have is the spinach (or similar) topping, as it made the sauce a bit runny at times, but this wasn’t an issue.
Would recommend trying!

Moved to the area from NY last year and just tried Reginella’s last week. We have found some other great pizza around here but the cheese pie from Reginella’s was in the top 3 pizza I’ve ever had (NY included). Can’t wait to go back and try what else they have to offer

Ain’t Gino East, but being of of the FEW DEEP DISH STYLE PIZZAS ANYWHERE IN NC…the pizza isnt bad. Really yeasty dough, which was great. Sauce was great, cheesy and salty! The crumbled sausage was the FORZEN small curds, like pizza hut, but not bad. The Arancini was good! A little undercooked, but good. The wings were meh…cold and dry.
Over all if you’re in the mood for a Chicago style deep dish, make the trip out and grab the pie..

My daughter brought me here for Mother’s Day. I had the lasagna and even though I asked nicely, I wasn’t given the recipe for that AMAZING meat sauce. Delicious and cheesey, easily enough for 3 servings. My daughter had the Chicken Parmesana and said it was Devine. It has a marinara sauce and is just as tasty. Now let me tell you about that cake. Ever heard the expression ” So good it makes you want to smack your momma” ? Well this is it!! The dining room stayed busy and I saw lots of people coming in for takeout. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back for some of their pizza and other dishes.
