I stopped at The Habit Burger and Grill here in Bound Brook New Jersey and I was honestly impressed. I ordered the steak sandwich and it was love from the first bite. It is definitely a different take on a fresh Angus style burger and the flavor was really good and delicious.
I also got the medium strawberry lemonade and that drink hit perfectly. Sweet, refreshing, and worth the order.
What really stood out to me besides the food was how clean this restaurant is. I used to be in culinary school so I pay attention to things like ServSafe standards and proper cleanliness. This spot is ServSafe certified and you can tell. The floors are clean, the kitchen area is spotless, everything is wiped down and shining, and there is plenty of space for comfortable seating.
I will definitely be coming back to try more of their burgers in the near future. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for quality food, a clean environment, and great service.

Habit Burger and Grill has 3 self ordering stations! The restaurant was super clean without any sticky floors! Dino was super kind and answered any questions we had! Great service!! I would love to come here again!!

I took my daughter to lunch at HAppy Burger on chimney Road and I regret that. I walked to the go trip with my daughter standing there for a long time. Nobody said hi nobody greeted. Then I went to saltwater kiosk. can I place the order? I asked the guy if I can pay cash the guy was like we don’t accept cash anymore and stood there with his back on my side. Worst rude experience ever I used to love this place. Food is amazing delicious but what’s the point if you don’t feel like you’re welcome there.

They make a good double cheese burger. On this visit the quality of the food was very good. You can choose your toppings. They make a great burger but one previous time it was way overcooked and very dry. That time was very disappointing . My wife’s salad was very good so I gave them a 3 rating. I upped my rating from a 2 to 4 because this visit the burger was done nicely. If the next visit is as good I will up the rating to a 5.

I had an incredible experience at my first time at Habit Burger. Even though my order was swapped with someone else’s, the manager, Mike was so kind to fix everything right away and even provided me with a free shake for the trouble. He was the friendliest manager I’ve ever met at a fast casual restaurant and really cared about my experience.
The lettuce wrap burger was delicious and I did not miss the bun at all as the flavors from the meat and toppings were absolutely amazing. The green bean fries were actually crispy and delicious and served with a side of ranch. Fries were made in small batches so it was guaranteed that every order was hot when served. I wish the fries were a touch saltier but I appreciate that they weren’t overly salted for those looking to have less sodium.
The mobile app experience was smooth and easy so that was a big plus for me as someone who likes to order in advance.

Today, while I was at The Habit Burger, the food was amazing and the service was great but I was disrupted by a commotion involving an angry adult customer who was yelling and being extremely disrespectful toward the employees. What stood out to me most was that he was insulting a teenage employee, which, as a grown man, looked completely inappropriate and uncalled for. From the moment he entered the store, he had an aggressive attitude toward the staff, despite the employees calmly trying their best to de-escalate the situation and make things right. I witnessed the entire incident, and it was clear that the employees handled themselves professionally and respectfully under pressure. I felt compelled to share my perspective as a customer who saw the inconvenience firsthand and wanted to defend the employees who were simply doing their jobs.

Friendly staff… similar setup to 5 guys, smashburger, and shake shack where you go up to the counter to order and it’s cooked to order. Most toppings are free but extra for cheese (+0.75) bacon (+$1.49), or avocado (+$1.59). There are specialty burgers and chicken sandwiches which come with some of the extras in the price for a slight discount. Burgers cooked fresh unlike standard fast food. Like more upscale burger chains shakes and fries are prominent on the menu. The burger is good and prices very reasonable for upscale burger chain. Prices are better than a shake shack but equal to 5 guys and smashburger and similar chains. Not nearly as good as Peter Luger or Minetta’s Tavern burger but those are $25+ a burger. Good burger for price. Will go back to try their other offerings.
