This review is simply regarding the Christmas decorations! Especially in the kids area and private room. Very festive. Makes me want to have a party here…but alas we have no family here.

Absolutely despicable. My son had a wrestling match today and had to stay later after their Team was done. He walked from Bountiful High down to this location. He was hungry and looking for something good to replenish himself grim the event. He tried to order burger meals and was told by the cashier that they didn’t have anything but some breakfast sandwich. Being hungry he accepted the offer. While waiting, 2 ladies came in and ordered several different burger meals. The cashier kept asking them if they wanted anything else after each item and this took my son by surprise as he was told there was only a specific breakfast sandwich that was available. When he finally got his meal, it was just shy of being burnt. I was taken back to hear that they offered a breakfast sandwich when breakfast isn’t typically served at 6pm in the evening, unless you’re at an all day breakfast spot. I was more shocked that they treated my son like this. I’m trying to figure out why. We’re a brown Family and the 2 ladies that came in after him were white. Was that it? I hope this wasn’t racially motivated. My son is known for being respectful, especially in this day where more teens, not all, seem to lack respect. Was he unlike himself for some reason and being rude so they reacted to him? Carl’s Jr., pull the security recording from tonight around 6pm to 7pm. It doesn’t sound like it was busy so you should be able to see and hear this entire interaction quite easily. If there’s anything I’m writing that is incorrect or in error I promise you I will remove this feedback and write an apology in place of it. Today is January 10th, 2026. There was a wrestling tournament at Bountiful High School. My son said the restaurant was clean so I rated the atmosphere with 5 stars. The service and food were obviously a 0 but 1 star is the lowest option so I selected that. We enjoy Carl’s Jr. In the Salt Lake Valley and Southern California so I know it’s not the entire company. This was the first time anyone I personally know was treated like this at Carl’s Jr. so I’m not going to put this on all the locations. Since this is my son, I can accept that I may be reacting with a lot of emotion, but I’m open to sitting with this location face to face and hearing all sides of this interaction. Everyone should have a chance to express and defend themselves and I want to give that opportunity if it’s needed.

The food was terrible. My chicken strips were overcooked and looked like… something. The employee taking our order Thomas O was overworked, but was bending over backward for customers. That man doesn’t need a raise, he needs a better employer. The ice was empty and the vegetables were soulless. Spend your money at a local, small business who appreciates their customers and the quality of the food they serve.

I recently stopped in for some chicken stars and chicken strips for the kids. Order was ready about as fast as you can expect for fresh fried chicken. I find Carl’s Jr to generally be a better fast food option than many of the others; a bit more expensive, but the quality is reflected in the price. On this occasion, the chicken strips were some of the best I’ve had. They were perfectly breaded and perfectly crispy. I’ve had a lot of fast food chicken strips, including other Carl’s Jrs, but they were on point on this visit. This store hasn’t been updated in a while, which doesn’t affect the food or dining experience, but it’s starting to show its age. Service was friendly.

Very cool facility but the food. The chicken sandwich’s chicken tore apart in chunks. The fries where just fine though, but nothing special. The soda tastes very strange I tried EVERY SINGLE soda and all of them tasted like old sparkling water. The chicken tenders had no flavor and where often chewy. This has to be the most disappointing Carl’s jr I have ever eaten at. Would never recommend, don’t waste your time or money here.

Do you like waiting? Do you also like to waste your time? Well look no further! This Carls Jr takes the cake! It’s known that Carls Jr are usually slow, but this one is trying to win an award! 2 cars in the parking lot, 1 car in front of me in the drive thru, so it was not busy at all.. After 20 minutes I left and went across the street to Wendys. I got my food there within 5 minutes and when I drove by the Carls Jr again, the same car that was in front of me was still in the drive thru waiting for their food LOL! At this point, is Carls Jr. really a fast food restaurant?

My girlfriend and I ordered from here last night off GrubHub and we both woke up sick.
The food was frigid by the time it got here a couple hours after we ordered. The soda flat.
And now we’re both inbvathroom trouble.
The food was tasty sure but wow . . . not even a warming lamp to keep it safe?
And in UTAH? There’s all sorts of consumer protections here what are you thinking?
Go somewhere else people, this place dgaf about customers clearly, either that or the people working weren’t properly trained . . . yay for corporations doing the bare minimum but really that’s more an issue of wherever they got their food handlers permit maybe?
Or both.
Like assuming there was a heat8ng station to keep food food safe . . .
Anyway if you work there and are reading this don’t worry, not your fault even though I’m sure corporate would love to put the fault on your head.
Also it’s hugely on GrubHub since we had to wait hours to get the food and clearly they don’t incentivise their drivers enough to be active up here.

Ask any resident of Bountiful about this location and you’ll always receive mystified stories. From constant strange happenings, to the location somehow still being open after being empty of customers for years, it’s perplexing. In another word I’d believe the entire building is a front of some kind, but honestly it just looks like they paid it off in the early days and let it die. The employees are not really used to rushes as there aren’t typically any. They’re kind, but how can you be on top of the food when it’s so rarely prepared anyway…

There is a platplace, but it is not well kept. It is pretty dirty, and I didn’t really want my toddler climbing in it.

This is the first time in a very long time I actually received fresh cooked food at a fast food restaurant. Even when businesses are not busy and when I ask for things to be freshly cooked they often are precooked. Today was amazing! Everything was fantastic!
