Joo Joo Restaurant & Karaoke has been in St. Louis over 10 years and is under new ownership since late 2018. We serve the best authentic Korean food using fresh ingredients (we do not use MSG) with our sauces and side-dishes made in-house every day. Our private karaoke rooms fit between 8-12 people and have songs in multiple languages.

First time trying Joo Joo, had a fantastic experience. The food and service were all top notch. We tried the seafood scallion pancake, and the jjookumi bokum. Both dishes had well rounded flavors, and not too spicy. Well definitely come back to try more dishes!

Came here for date night! Really good food, which came out really quickly (which isn’t a bad thing ) just be prepared! The service is really awesome, always checking in to make sure we were good! Look forward to trying karaoke next time! You can tell this is really authentic Korean food.

The beef that’s sliced that looks like bacon was amazing. We had about three sauces to choose from. As you can see on the photo. The food is excellent. We had the beef special. Just a great experience of having a good time with good friends.

Every time I’ve come here i’ve loved every dish i’ve had. My favorites are definitely the bulgogi dolsot, the tteok-boki and the fried shrimp. Everyone who works there is always so nice and the food always comes out faster than i expect it to

The food here was tasty. It’s a sparingly decorated place, but don’t let that stop you. The beef bulgogi was delicious, as were the sides that come with the food and everything else we ordered. I would definitely eat here again.

We ordered black pork BBQ and japchae. That was delicious! The pork with Rosemary smelled great and tasted good. I’m surprised that the pork didn’t smell not fresh! I loved you can order small food plates comes with BBQ as much as you want. And one order of BBQ is enough to be full for 2 people. Japchae’s noodle was chewy and had savory flavor that you can’t make at home. Staff were all kind, even one worker cooked BBQ meat for us when we were eating. I guess she did so not to burn the meat. How nice! We will come back to this place for sure.

What happened to your portions? I understand inflation and rising cost, but over the last 2-3 years, the place has become unreasonably overpriced. I’ve been a customer for 7 years, but recently every time I go, I’m surprised by portion keeping reducing. I would recommend you to go to Seoul garden instead if you want descent Korean food – Taste is good, and very reasonably priced.

Joo Joo is one of my top 3 restaurants in the great STL area.
Food is amazing, but what’s beyond the food is their service.
I’ve visited here couple times. And about 3~4 months ago, I ordered a takeout, and they forgot to include Milkis. So, I called them about this, and they said they’d keep a note/record for me.
Last night, I visited there again, and they really kept the note. It was really touching. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have forgotton the note cuz it’s been quite a while. But thanks for making my night. 감사합니다！！

The food is a bit bland for me, compared to other Korean restaurants in St. Louis. I remember visiting this place years ago, and they have completely improved and changed their interior design. The service was friendly, great, but also aloof.
I just wish the flavors could deliver more. But my party was slightly disappointed. And menu prices are not updated yet.
