I attended a private dinner last night with family and friends to celebrate a special occasion. From beginning to end, the food and service were exceptional! The food was some of the best southern cooking from a restaurant I have ever had. The chef and his assistant were great! You can tell they really love what they do. We had so much fun with them. I will definitely recommend this restaurant for private dining as well as regular dining. I will be back very soon.

Five Oaks Restaurant and Taproom in Savannah, GA is an absolute gem! The highlight of our visit was definitely the lamb chops — perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. Truly some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The Smash Burger was juicy and awesome. For appetizers, crab cakes!
Our server, Ana, made the experience even better. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made us feel right at home from start to finish.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything from the drinks to the service exceeded expectations. Highly recommend Five Oaks if you’re in Savannah and want a memorable dining experience!

Awesome service and super nice place. The list is really good I tried to be wild leap local blonde gold and it was fantastic!
While you’re walking around Savannah definitely stop in and have a beer, highly recommend! Mine is green today because it’s St Patrick’s Day.

The bar is fantastic and the bar tender was knowledgeable and polite. They have a fantastic bar burger. They have a peach cocktail that is sweet and native tasting- toes on the tybee. Clean bar.

Mediocre breakfast. The service staff was incredibly slow. While there were multiple 2 tops waiting they prioritized cleaning of larger tables. After being seated I ordered tea which a dirty cup was brought out.
The food was mediocre and we would have expected more based on the reviews. The egg white omelette was actually a regular omelette. The salmon sandwich was just salmon, cream cheese and large slices of onion. They were out of capers so there wasn’t much flavor.

So, I’m not going to lie, I was kinda let down by this place. Not that it was horrible, but I was expecting much more. I thought it was way bigger than it actually was, but it’s definitely more hotel than anything. As for the menu, they had a decent amount of options, we both decided on the smash burger and parmesan fries. My fries were half warm, half cold, and half of them tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. The smash burger was decent but lacked flavor. Our drinks were pretty good, I could see this being a great place for drinks with friends. They have larger high-top tables with games you can play! Side Note: I didn’t get a photo because this was the first meal I had all day, and I started eating immediately.

On 2/22, My husband and I went down to the bar where we sat being unacknowledged for roughly around 11 minutes. There where 2 bartenders. The female bartender has plenty of time to stop and check her phone twice while the guy never even looked at the other half of the bar. We sat there that long because we understand that people get busy. After her second phone check and not even being told “hey we’ll be right there” when we sat, we just decided to leave. We were super disappointed because it was our anniversary and our last night in Savannah. We wanted to have a low-key night after such an eventful day.
