First, I have to say, that this was not a “taste of the town”. It was more of a taste of a small part of the town.
There were not a lot of options in 2023 and what was there were mostly meals. If I want to try different foods, I want samples of the foods, not meals. Some vendors offered samples and I did try those and enjoyed them. I did not try the big meals because I would not have had room for anything else. I want to taste the town so please, next time, have your vendors offer samples and not meals.
Further, get MORE vendors to attend this event. There was a lot of room available and that would have made the $10 per person cover charge worthwhile.
The one redeeming element of the event was the band we listened to on Sunday at 1pm; Rock Republic. They sounded great and the audience enjoyed them.
I wish I could give 2 1/2 stars as 3 stars was too high of a rating.

I understand we just went through a hurricane BUT to keep a food event on and offer no shade nor tables?!? My party, child and I had to sit on the ground to eat, it was a disorganized mess in a way and super hot. Tickets were for drinks only, it was still a good time but I wish someone thought about seating or even standing tables since it’s a food event.

Went on Sunday was a disorganized mess. 1st you waited 30 to 40 minutes to buy food/drink tickets then you only have 7 or 8 food trucks to choose from ( when over 25 were advertised to be there) so you have to wait in line for that for over an hour. Was a huge disappointment. Won’t be back.
