So good. We had the pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp, no curry, no raisins with some hot sauce on the side so we could add our own heat. Also the mango sticky rice. Both were delicious and I couldn’t stop eating. Had over half to take home. Service was so fast. We went outside to the patio to wait and food was ready in 5 minutes. Lord how can they cook it so fast? Definitely will be back..

I ordered their pad thai with chicken and the chicken was very dry and had a big piece of cartilage or whatever in one, thankfully I noticed it before I choked… I’m sure this isn’t the usual but still disappointing. Noodles were good though.

I also ordered some mixed veggies with tofu and that was delicious! Fresh rolls were great too. Friendly staff and cute little spot.

Best Thai Food in Sandy, the Orange chicken is not Thai but is a guilty pleasure; crispy, sweet with tangy hint of orange. Simple and cannot be beat.

We were driving back to Bend from a day in Portland and found this little gem in the sweet town of Sandy. My man got pad Thai w shrimp and chicken and he’s devouring it right now! I wolfed down my pad see-ew w tofu because it was so delicious and I couldn’t wait any longer for my mango sticky rice to come. It. Was. Fantastic! Warm sweet rice with perfectly ripe mangos. Yes, I shared, but just a bit!

The inside atmosphere is quaint and comfortable, like a cozy home. We ate every bit and crumb of everything! Needless to say, but we definitely highly recommend the Thai Home restaurant!

This is a really small restaurant. It is cozy. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and had amazing customer service.

The food?! Oh man, so good! My very boring husband said it was the best Pad Thai he had ever had….it is his go to dish when we get Thai food. I have to agree. It was excellent. I got Pad See Ew and that was amazing. It was a beautiful dark color with lots of flavor…I am assuming from the cook using different types of sauces. We also had egg rolls and pot stickers. We ate way too much food, but it was because it was soooo gooos.

We were passing through Sandy and wanted to try some of the local restaurants and man, this place was by far the best!! The workers were incredibly polite and friendly and they prepared our food quickly. This was some of the best Thai I’ve had in a while! I’m sad we don’t live closer. Definitely worth it!

If you enjoy Thai food that tastes just as good as the smell as you drive by. I highly recommend Thai Home. The customer service here is always speedy, polite, and efficient. I highly recommend the Pineapple Red Curry for something thick with a hint of spice and full body flavor. I might even recommend The Drunken Noodle with a side of Garden Rolls, and The Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. The Thai Ice Tea pairs well with most of their foods too! Almost a go to drink to pair with my orders every time!

Good Thai food for Americans.

The amount of sugar in the curry was jarring, but if you’re an average American you probably won’t notice. We also got the laab which was extra sour. Portion size was a little on the small side. Not enough meat for a meal. The salad rolls were good. Also a bit small.

The service was friendly and the place was very clean. It’s a nice little spot with indoor and outdoor seating.

Probably won’t be back ourselves since we don’t often pass through, but if we did return we’d say something about the sugar when ordering.

Again, this may suit most Americans very nicely because they are accustomed to sweet food. So if you are the kind of person whose go-to is orange chicken or general chicken or something sweet like that this might be a good entry point to Thai cuisine so you can begin to broaden your palette to other flavors that will enrich your life.

When you’re ready for more variety and more Thai food check some of my other reviews for guidance. We tend to eat at Thai places often in the US and in Thailand. Some are better than others.
