The atmosphere was very pleasant. Great for date night. Some what of a hidden gem it doesn’t look like much from the outside but amazing inside. The wait staff was the definition of perfection. I had the mixed grill all of it was amazing but the steak took the spot light. Tender, perfectly cooked and delightful flavor. Finished off with the creme brulee. Definitely enough for two.

The Flame is one of the best kept non-secrets in Sanford. It was a delightful and surprisingly nice casual dining experience. Great for a date night. Food was really good and the steaks were perfect. Service provided by Trishia was simply home-town outstanding. We sat in a booth on the bar-side of the restaurant (which I recommend) and it was definitely a cozy experience (the lights on the dining room did seem too bright for dinner). The Flame is definitely on the repeat dining checklist.

My wife and I have been wanting to come and try out the flame for a few years. Finally pulled the trigger and was not disappointed. The bang’in shrimp was absolutely bangin! My wife got the crab cakes and loved them and I got the pork chop which was possibly the most tender chop I’ve ever had. I love cooking pork chops at home and have no idea how they got it so tender. Also, the kids meal was very reasonably priced which is rare to find these days. We’ll definitely be back, at least for cocktails and some appetizers.

My husband reservation for me and my daughter n law for valentines (2026) out reservation was at 8:30 pm . Our waitress was awesome but the food was so terrible my husband ask for well cook steak tips some pieces was red meat me and my daughter food was cold not hot like it should of been the Brussel sprouts was pretty good but wasn’t hot the salmon we both ordered was not seasoned to taste no flavor at all her asparagus was cold no flavor and the mushroom looked and taste like can I was so disappointed ☹️ and embarrassed my husband wanted to complain but I told him just let it go my bill was $111 definitely want worth the price smh want be returning again

The loaded French fries & house made ranch were a delicious appetizer. My date and I were told asparagus isn’t always on the menu but they had it available so we both ordered it as our side & enjoyed it. She loved her tuna, the appetizer portion was perfect and raw as she preferred. My steak was very well flavored and cooked to perfection. The mushrooms had that canned metallic flavor but our server assured us they were fresh. Service was good. Lounge is beautiful and reminiscent of an old steakhouse. It was packed, glad we called ahead for a reservation.

One of the best steaks I have ever had. Grilled perfectly. The Bangin Shrimp were amazing too. This place was recommended by an employee at the Sanford Antique Mall and could not have been happier with out choice to come here. The staff was so friendly and happy to seat us even tho we didnt have a reservation. Will definitely make the drive back to The Flame.
