Hacienda Arandas never disappoints. No matter which location I visit I always receive great customer service and food is delicious. I highly recommend the delicious choriqueso, it is worth every penny. The Taquitos de bisteck (tacos de caballo) were equally delicious and the daily specials start at 11am and end at 3pm from Monday to Friday. Restaurant was very clean and beautifully decorated. This location my favorite.

Small hole in the wall restaurant in Laredo, Texas with a variety of mexican plates, drinks, healthy fruit based shakes, and tortas (mexican hybrid burger / sandwich). The drink shown is an Arnold Palmer, the best one i have had in a restaurant. They also serve mix drinks. Small bar but with a good variety of tequilas, whiskey, and vodka. Large selection of mixed drinks.
The plate on this picture is a Chile Relleno with ground beef plate without the egg batter. Very good dish. You will have to ask for it without the egg batter. If you have never been here, I definitely recommend it. Prices are very reasonable.

Stopped here on a business trip and it did not disappoint. The fajita plate was delicious and the portion was massive. I couldn’t even finish the meal for one there was so much food. Even though the food was excellent the juice was the star of the show. I haven’t had juice this good outside of South America. It was so fresh and delicious I actually stopped by again the next day on my way out of town for more. As a non Spanish speaker we did have a hard time communicating with the staff but they were quite friendly and eventually got someone who spoke English to help us.

Found my menudo place. I don’t speak Spanish too well, but they are very nice. Every day menudo, I want to say broth and texture is everything and portion and price are great.

We dined at 4:30 pm on a weekday.
Quick service, we were brought chips and salsa immediately.
Chips were a little stale. Sauces were tasty and interesting, one tasted like a creamy avocado and the other a roasted salsa.
Tacos were quite large and really tasty. I got the al pastor and tripita. The tripe was crunchy and not too oily or heavy. The al pastor was really crispy but still succulent. Only thing missing from the pastor was the pineapple!
No self-serve chips and we only got two sauces.
Overall this place is a really great value for some fantastic tacos, certainly among the best in Laredo by my reckoning.

Food and service were great. Carne Asada tacos had super amazing flavor, enchiladas with homemade corn tortillas…YUM! Mango margarita was really fresh and fruity. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. Will return the next time we’re in Laredo!
