We stayed at the Madre Selva hostel and ate at the restaurant a few times when we were staying. It´s quite a small menu but all the options are absolutely incredible. I particularly love the falafel, its very reasonably priced and delicious. The other treat we had when we were there was the Sushi which was honestly incredible, hugely generous portions and absolutely delicious. This restaurant is really unappreciated and a total gem in Puerto Viejo.
