This was our first time visiting Casa Ortiz. We ordered the chips, salsa, cheese dip, shrimp fajitas with rice and beans. The service was friendly and fast, which we appreciated.
The restaurant has a more cozy, quiet atmosphere – there wasn’t any music playing – so it felt a little like you couldn’t talk much without everyone hearing, which may appeal to some but wasn’t quite our vibe.
Food-wise, the fajita vegetables had great flavor, and the rice was very fluffy and almost melted in your mouth. Unfortunately, the shrimp were rubbery and fairly flavorless.
Prices were a bit high for us, with all entrées starting around $13 and kids menu $8.99, so we likely would only return when lunch specials are served. That said, we wish them the absolute best and hope they continue to do well!

My wife, our two-year-old daughter, and I recently dined at your restaurant and were charged $40 for a steak fajita to share, a medium cheese dip, waters with lemons and limes, and three extra corn tortillas that we did not even use. After reviewing your menu, the pricing simply does not add up.
Being told that “things have gotten expensive lately” is not an acceptable explanation when the posted menu prices do not reflect what customers are actually charged. That is misleading at best.
The food quality was already underwhelming, and the billing issue only made the experience worse. We chose not to make a scene in front of our child, but make no mistake — we noticed.
We will not be returning. Furthermore, I will be sure to share this experience with friends, family, and others so they can make an informed decision before spending their money here.
I strongly suggest management review both pricing practices and overall quality immediately.

The new location is in a cute building and they have an outdoor patio. Naty took good care of us. My meal was DELICIOUS! I had the Mexican Street Burrito served with fresh, hot fries. They were very accommodating and substituted the meat with veggies($15) It was enough for two meals so I took some home for lunch tomorrow. Medium house margarita was excellent($12). They put a Tajin rim on the class as requested. After tax and a 20% tip my bill was $37.
I we’ll definitely go again and possibly get the same meal. My friend has Mexican Guacamole with seasoned shrimp. She loved the shrimp but said the guacamole was red onion heavy so just a little bitter. Give them a try. I think you’ll be happy.

Very pleased with my visit here. I tried the chori dip, botana guacamole and fiesta dip. They were all delicious with great quality ingredients. My other family members had chile rellenos and cheeseburger and fries. They grilled us up some whole jalapeños as well. Everything was wonderful!! The service and atmosphere was very enjoyable too. I have heard their margaritas are awesome so o look forward to coming back and giving them a try!

This was our first & last time to eat from here. We ordered street tacos (meal) 3 chicken & cheese quesadillas 1 plain cheese quesadilla small guacamole salad & a large cheese dip & the bill was $90.48!! Cheese quesadilla was completely flat very little cheese, the salsa was just spicy water no way to dip a chip in it. To top it off not even a thank you come again nothing walked off after taking the money & went back to waiting tables

So me and my parents were driving from Florida back up to Tennessee But we were hungry, so we decided to stop by and get some food. The inside is pretty the food tasted absolutely amazing I even made a specific request and the waiter was able to do it! This restaurant deserves more attention and I 10 out of 10 recommend!!

I always have a great experience when I dine in/order take out from this restaurant. The staff are excellent and always go above and beyond to ensure quality service. There was a slight mistake with one of my takeout orders tonight, but when I brought it back, not only did they remake my meal in a timely manner, but also gave me more chips and salsa and cheese dip (not part of my order) as a courtesy. I will keep coming back to Casa Ortiz. They have quality service and the food is always great! The steak street tacos are always my go to.
