Friendly Staff and team with Great food with generous portions!
We stopped at The Shed in Kingfisher and had a really nice meal! The steak was very good – cooked well and flavorful. The sweet corn leaned on the bland side for me personally, but I know a lot of people prefer it that way. I would’ve enjoyed a little butter flavor to make it pop. The baked potato was good as well, though again, I like mine with oil and sea salt rubbed into the skin for that extra punch.
The service was excellent! We ordered tea with lemon, and while the lemon was forgotten at first (a pretty common miss at most places), the staff immediately caught it as they set the cups down and fixed it on the spot – great attention to detail. The restaurant itself is very clean and tidy, which I really appreciate.
I’ve also tried their Buffalo chicken sandwich before – the fried chicken version is absolutely delicious! I’ve tried it grilled too, but I definitely prefer the fried.
Overall, this is a great spot to stop in Kingfisher. While I can’t give it a full 5 stars because I personally like a little more oomph in the flavors, we’ll definitely keep coming back!
We ordered chips and queso, which was like a salt lick. My husband had ribs, which were decent. Had to wave someone over for more water after drinking every drop on the table. Seemed to have plenty of staff and were not that busy. Very disappointed. 2 adults and 2 kids for lunch was over $65.
Me n the wife tried the chicken fryed steak, the waiter recommended it as the #1 seller thier. I dont know if it was the meat or the batter but it was salty. Mashed potatoes n mac was good though. Hopefully next time its not to bad
