Ordered biryani from a restaurant calling itself “South Indian Restaurant.” What I received was an insult to biryani and to South Indian food in general.
First of all, who puts tomato in biryani? This tasted like tomato rice pretending to be biryani. No proper aroma, no balance of spices, no technique. Just random ingredients thrown together by someone who clearly has no idea how biryani is cooked.
If you don’t know how to make biryani, don’t sell it. And if you don’t understand South Indian cuisine, don’t use “South Indian” in your restaurant name to fool customers. Learn the basics or change the menu. Better yet, check your own menu before serving nonsense like this.
Extremely disappointing. Would not recommend.

Same Biryani hut restaurant trying to market with new names with same address as they are not getting customers it looks like. They might be thinking that new customers may come with new names as old name is not helping.
