Food was really delicious but the service is pretty bad. Staff definitely needs more training; Overall service was very slow and that was with only 4 tables occupied. Ambiance was non existent, there was no back ground music and to-go orders kept the phone ringing and ringing, which was LOUD and heard throughout the restaurant. We’ll definitely remain a patron on Door Dash for to-go or delivery, but highly unlikely we’d eat in again.

Had team lunch buffet but very limited items. Surprisingly we have to order Biryani separately as only white rice is part of buffet. Biryani is not so good and it wasn’t sale much. Btw., butter chicken was good.

Hospitality plays a very important role in restaurants and the staff here know how to make the guests feel welcome. The high ceiling makes the eatery feel very spacious and there are smiles in plenty when you are being served. The chicken korma is tasty but they can work on the flavor of Madras chicken. The cheese naan was soft and chewy.

We love the lunch buffet here. The selections are plentiful and the food is always hot and fresh. There is plenty of space to eat and it never seems too crowded.

Horrible place for buffet. Totally overpriced considering the options and quality of food they offer.
– Food was cold and tasteless.
– the only good thing was probably the naan which was getting served only after waiting a minimum 10 mins.
– Had to eventually ask the manager twice before we got the naan.
– Desert was apparently rice porridge which was a fancy name for warming some milk, sugar and adding the rice cooked for curries in that.
– Was the quickest lunch I ever had. Just felt as we paid an entry fee to get into the restaurant.

One of the finest Indian food in town. This branch served really authentic Indian cuisine. Ordered the vegetarian curry and tandoori chicken. The chicken meat is so tender and juicy . The naan was perfectly prepared and still warm when serve. The wines selection is not too bad too. The service is rather slow in view of not a busy night . Plenty of seats and enjoyable night..

We got takeout for four people for dinner. The curry/ sauce was really good but overall we all did not have that much protein. Also, my shrimp had the tails on so I find that very annoying to eat. Two of the meals did not come with rice and the other two did so that was a bit confusing.
The workers are very kind and nice and the interior was clean and spacious. Parking was very easy.

Went for weekday lunch buffet. The food is very bland, but it was flavourful.Shahi Paneer, Daal Makhani and a veggie Curry and bhaigan bharta were the only veggie and all were bland. Shahi Paneer was mildly sweet as it should be and good. For the price, do not think it’s worth it.

Got takeout. We’ve gone to Rangoli for a few decades now first in Santa Clara and from the change of millennium to San Jose location. Haven’t been there much in last few years. This time they got one dish -wrong (we ordered chicken but got a spinach dish). We were okay with this. Mistakes happen — but all the food was drenched in oil. I tried to salvage one dish by removing maybe 10 tablespoons of pooling oil but it was still ridiculously oily. Unfortunately so was the spinach. Everyone felt
Sick after eating a little and we threw away the rest (majority) of The food. Wont go back. Not sure if the family that owned originally has sold it or the woman who really seemed the driving force in Santa Clara and even the well meaning kid who was lead for this location when they owned (he’s got to be in his 40s at least so that’s not a fair description) are now out of picture
Crew behind counter different who I saw before.
Recipes are mostly similar but chicken seems bland just cooked or boiled no seasoning. Just crazy amounts of oil for curries etc and maybe the fryer temperature also wrong. Can’t be cheaper to cook this way so hard to understand why it is devolved like this.
