Thursday Market Update This week, LeighAnn Peltoma visited Jimmy, the owner of WinCity Wings, Rochester’s newest family-operated food truck!

We tried a good variety. There was a little bit of a wait, but all the food was clearly prepared fresh in the moment.
The Hot Dog was spectacular, true Chicago style with all the fixings.
The Italian Beef was great too. We got without cheese. They dip the whole sandwich in the juice, so you have to be ok with soggy bread. But the flavor was great and every bite was super juicy. The Giadinera they put on is spicy, so expect a bit of kick!
The chicken bites were delicious, we got them plain for our kids. There was probably a smidge too much pepper for the 2 yo, but the 4 yo (and I) loved them.
The wings are fried chicken style which is not really our favorite style of wings. The chicken itself was delicious, and we would get them again plain. We were not very impressed by the sauces. The lemon pepper was way too heavy on the lemon, the buffalo sauce was a bit too strong, and the barbecue was more of a spicy, Kansas City style, which isn’t my personal favorite.
Overall a solid food truck, and we will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Gosh. I don’t know where to start. The food is amazing, prices are very reasonable, the menu has enough variety but isn’t so big you don’t know what to pick. The flavors, texture, and moisture of the food is perfect. The wings aren’t dry and the bread is never soggy. Not to mention the people who work there, they are always nice and the atmosphere is amazing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a hidden gem.

Service was great. Very friendly team. The Italian Beef was good, but my Chicago dog left a little to be desired. Bun was a little hard and broken on bottom, when I picked it out it fell apart. Flavors were there though. The pizza pocket was pretty good!

We got the Italian beef sausage sandwich, the wings, and fries. We got the fry sauce on the side, but it was delicious! The wings were fire and the Italian beef sausage sandwich were soooo good. I could do with less hot peppers, but that’s just me. Overall 5 stars!

I can’t tell you about the food the service or the atmosphere. It is Tuesday evening at 5:08 PM and they are closed. Online it says they are open until 7 PM.
And when I call, it goes straight to voicemail. Please update your hours online. Reading the reviews I would really like to try the food.

If I could rate this place 6 out 5 stars I would. The minute we got up to the truck we were greeted and helped. The girl that took our order explained the menu and answered any questions. My boyfriend and I got the Italian Beef. The sandwich literally melted in my mouth first bite. I got cheese on mine which hit the spot! The pepper mix on the sandwich has just enough spice without being too much. I will definitely be returning!!!

Its a food truck so it is hard to say the atmosphere is amazing and there’s no tables or anything but the food is really, REALLY tasty. The Italian Beef is fantastic. You get a huge sandwich with a lot of meat on a tasty bun. The Chicago dogs are also top notch. The wings are bigger than average and a little more breaded but were fresh, crispy, and extremely good. The only minor complaint is the food does take a while to prepare but its made fresh and its good stuff so understandable.
Bottom line, I would absolutely recommend this truck.

Food is amazing and they have the best hotdogs in town, but they are never consistent with the hours of operation. Whenever intend to try and get lunch there I always have a backup plan. They are closed 9 times out of 10 during listed open hours. For this reason I can’t recommend this truck as a “go-to” spot. Could be so much better.

The wings are fantastic! Crunch coating and properly prepared. Try them to know what I mean. They are “bone in,” which I like. I ordered the BBQ sauce which was also delicious. The service was great. Pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere was very nice, as it is a good truck and it was a beautiful night to hang out for a few minutes while they finished preparing my order.

Bit of a wait, I’d suggest calling 25-30 minutes ahead but well worth it. The wings are some of the crispiest, most juicy I’ve had and the mild sauce is on point. The fries are just as crispy and everything is obviously freshly made to order. I’ve been twice now, once for the pizza puffs which I’d never tried and would highly recommend and the wings. Will be back again for the Italian beef and Chicago dog!
