A very traditional and classic BBQ place.
The pork is indeed excellent and the BBQ sauces are actually very pleasing.
The Pops bbq sauce is unique and surprising and that would motivate me to drive all the way there very often.
The service is kind and familial, you may find it on the slow side… But hey… Bbq is slow cooked. So expected.
Very clean location, plenty of room and fun Americana spirit vibe.

Best Texas brisket I’ve had, was tender and flavorful. Corn bread and butter were moist and scrumptious. Side were also homemade and delicious. Nice restaurant and friendly staff.

Holy moly! Their pulled pork is amazing! I tried the pulled pork plate and the mac and cheese sundae. Both were phenomenal and filling. The meat was well trimmed and savory, and the baked beans had just a tiny bit of kick.

I got the pulled pork sundae which was a Mason jar with coleslaw & baked beans topped with a lot of smoked pork. It was delicious. They have 4 different kinds of BBQ sauce to try, the honey one was my favorite but they were all tasty. The jalapeno corn muffins are also delicious, but really spicy. Fried pickles were OK (I’ve had better) and my son’s Cobb salad was built on bland iceberg. The meat was really good though, and the one deep fried rib we tried was amazing. Would order more next time! I was disappointed that they were out of the Amish pie, but I’ll return again when I’m in the area.

Loved the food. The staff are young and we had a few issues getting our drinks and food delivered timely. A couple times we had to remind the staff we still have not received our drinks even after our food was delivered. One server forgot a member of our party’s meal all together. Overall we chalked it up to our large group and looked through the small issues. Again, the food was really good.

Had a mixed plate of smoked meats tonight and it was all delicious!!! Best ribs I have tasted. Burnt ends and Brisket were fantastic! Mac and cheese, cornbread and pasta salad were very good. I tried each of their several sauces and really enjoyed them all. I am excited to bring my family here. Service was really good too
