Worst experience ever! Do not come here. I had high hopes since i like trying different Mexican restaurants and this place is horrible. The service is horrible and the food was even worse. I ordered the ceviche de camaron and it took almost an hour for it to come out. The taste was disgusting, the shrimp was pink. The server was Luis. I had let him know I didn’t like it and he rudely said he couldn’t exchange for something else nor apologized or tried to offer anything. Do not waste your time and get your money’s worth at upscale restaurants they’ll definitely treat you better.

Went to celebrate for a birthday dinner on a Monday night and this place is the real deal. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, you definitely want to add to this to the list of restaurants to try. It was not too busy at all, so we were able to be seated quickly and were greeted upon entry. The drinks are served strong and you have the option to choose what size. I believe the cheapest drink was like $12 up to like $30 dependent upon what you prefer and how much liquor you want I order a drink with just the house tequila and I was buzzed, but if you like top shelf make it happen. Food came out in a reasonable time. We were provided chips and salsa as soon as we were seated. Our drinks came from the bar so maybe 5 minutes after ordering we received them. We order the nachos with all the meats. Shrimp fajitas, and a flank steak with some sort of soup (bean mixture with meat maybe sausage added) No complaints at all regarding how food tasted, it was hot and the shrimp were actually seasoned. We could asked any server for help and they all responded friendly and eager to assist. Did have to pay $1.00 for sour cream other than no issues at all. our bill was like $150, for 3 drinks and 3 entrees. The atmosphere was welcoming, music was played through the speakers and at one point live music performances close to mariachi with a hohner and guitar was used as they walked around the restaurant entertaining the customers.

8/23/25 section A el guapito was an excellent server. Recommended our drinks (mango shots) and meals, checked in frequently (but not in a needy way) the quality in the food was far beyond our expectations, I brought my friend who’s birthday it was and she was hesitant but now saved this place so we can share it with all our friends, i recommend our server who took the time to make our experience a great one

Great food and drinks. I loved my Margarita and Chorizo Tacos. The food was well portioned and the band was live Friendly staff, our waiter made sure we were taken care of; I live for good customer service. I will definitely be back.

The food was cold and had lacked flavor.
The chips and salsa was the worst I’ve ever had. Beans horrible, I left my food there didn’t even eat it plus if you asked for anything you weren’t going to get it for another 30 minutes.
The service was beyond slow. However, they were super friendly but just all over the place.
We never received our drinks after waiting 3 hours. However, everyone that came after us got there’s I watched for almost 2 hours others being served efficiently.
This was the worst experience for Mexican I’ve ever had. I definitely have had better tasting food. This did not satisfy my Mexico craving at all. Now the tacos are decent, but lots of cilantro and onions make anything better.
Parking limited.

This place was absolutely amazing. The food was better than anywhere else I have been in a really long time. I can’t wait to visit this place again. The manager and employees were so nice to us I don’t think I’ve been anywhere in a really long time that had a manager and employees be so kind and make us feel right at home. They participate Chamblee Restaurant Week promotion event. Some taco is supposed to be $2 (“$1 for extra handmade tortillas”), however, when our bill came, we were charge $3 per taco. Our server didn’t seem to speak English well, and was pointing to that statement, but when we order, we didn’t ask for it, and he didn’t confirm or upsell, so we felt he is being dishonest. We didn’t argue with him further, but that unfortunately made a bad taste for us and will not recommend this place.
Free chips, lots of hot sauce options. Decent amount menu items and a lot of seafood items. Taco was… okay… meat was a bit dry. They have bands going around to play music, very cool! Ample parking space and lots of tables/seats.
