It was genuinely an awesome meal. We are from Texas so finding good Mexican food has proved itself difficult! I had enchiladas with steak and my husband had Al Pastor tacos (his favorite). His pastor was better than back home and while my enchiladas weren’t what I was expecting I give them

I asked the lady behind the counter. What’s the best meal they have? She said the taco plate with three tacos. I got one each of the chorizo, Carne Asada, and ranchero.. great recommendation and a great lunch. Definitely check out the salsa bar and adds alittle extra. I’ll be back!

I was a little surprised because the prices seemed high to me. That being said, the food was pretty good. We were in town from California, and found the prices to be basically the same, which is hard to believe that a Harrisburg PA spot would be the same price as our local spot in the greater LA area.
Price aside, the food was good, though the burrito was smaller than expected. I think I will not be full from my lunch lol. They’re also a little heavy on the tomatoes. I don’t eat tomatoes, so a lot of the meal was left on my plate, as pico is the only side other than guac (which had a good bit of tomatoes) and sour cream.
My spouse’s camrone tacos platter looked great. Go for that over the burrito, for the size differential. More food with the taco plates.

I ordered the fajita burrito. It was a very nice size, with pico, guacamole, and sour cream it was a satisfying meal.
For this quality, the value is excellent. The service is spot on, as is the wait time for food and the restaurant is very clean. This is a decent sized step up above the basic Americanized Mexican food category. Very convenient location as well.

Absolutely fantastic! This small Mexican restaurant is a true gem. The food was bursting with flavors, and the service was incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal or a special night out. I highly recommend it!

Saw them on clipp formally local flavor and decided to give it a try. Finally went today and am so glad I did. I got there about 5:20 and it was dead inside but smelled good, the woman that took my order was very kind and greeted me promptly and the decor was cute and the restaurant clean. I ordered the guacamole appetizer, a few sides of rice and the steak fajita burrito. When I got home I was really surprised at how good the food looked and the portions. The guac was gorgeous and so delicious and fresh with the perfect amount of lime. The chips were nice and warm and crisp. They also have a cup of salsa which was delicious. The rice was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The steak fajita burrito was huge and delicious. They also had a salsa and toppings bar that was super clean and packed with a variety of delicious salsas. The toasted jalapeno is spicy with a wonderful flavor! Everything was fresh and flavorful. Will definitely be going back. The food is amazing. Don’t let the lack of cars in the lot detour you, the food is out of this world ! And the woman that helped was very kind and pleasant. Great experience.

This El Sol Express is a small little restaurant, but it has delicious food and a great atmosphere! It is casual and low key dining. You sit wherever you’d like, order food from the counter, and then they bring it out to your table for you. There are no servers, but staff members stopped by our table a few times during our meal to check if we needed anything. It is toddler friendly. There are high chairs, staff were friendly to our toddler, and they were accommodating to our need for an extra bowl to serve food to our toddler. Additionally, the bathroom (ladies room, at least) was impressively clean with a nice changing table. There’s even a little shelf that I could put the diaper bag on while changing my toddler. Overall, we loved our dinner out at El Sol Express!

This place is amazing. We found it by chance while traveling. The food is top notch, super delicious. Staff was super friendly, recommended some specialities and was very fast getting the food to us. This place can easily compete with other restaurants and I highly recommend you give it a try, even if you need to wait a little during rush hours.
