I ordered the healthy steamed shrimp and veggies for delivery. When it arrived each shrimp was mushy and soft and would just fall apart. That shouldn’t happen especially with every shrimp in an order. It was totally inedible and unappealing. I called to inform the restaurant. They offered me a $6 credit. I requested a full credit on the entrée since it was inedible. They told me in order to get a full credit, I would have to drive the food back to the restaurant. Reminder, I requested delivery to begin with and they messed up the order and then asked me to drive it back to them for a full entree credit. They also told me that they wouldn’t give me a full credit because they hadn’t received any other callers complaining about food tonight. I’ve posted a picture of the shrimp. I realize it’s hard to visually see what I’m describing, but if you’ve ever had shrimp that was mushy and soft and fell apart this is what it looks like in a photo. The owner was the one making these decisions that were relayed back to me on the phone. Absolutely terrible and cheap owner with no regard for a paying customer, or the quality output of their food. Don’t go here. Find another place. There’s plenty of others to choose from.

Food was great. Friendly customer service.
Had several dishes, orange chicken, beef chow fun, szechuan beef, crispy wonton.

My least favorite was the crispy wonton it was more fried dough then meat. The beef chow fun is delicious. Good sized noodles with enough veggies and beef. Szechuan beef was good but wasn’t exactly spicy.

All of the items were reasonably priced. If you want something easy and quick, definitely check it out.

I’ve been looking for a Chinese carry out ever since I’ve moved to Virginia, and Ho’s doesn’t disappoint. Their service is great, the food is delicious, and their menu has tons of choices. I think the best bang for your buck is the triple delight, their sesame beef is also delicious! The best part is that you can get as many sauce packets as you need! As long as it’s not abused I hope they keep it that way. Parking is tight, I’ve had to park on the street a couple of times. I’ve also only ordered for carry out, however they promote they have delivery.

I have ordered carryout from this establishment twice now. I typically order for pickup online. Their sesame and orange chicken are always great and i love their vegetable lo mein. When I go in to pick up my order, the process is always quick and easy and the cashiers are always kind. Both times I have ordered so far, I have been more than satisfied with my experience.

I ordered lo mein, and the noodles were overcooked. The shrimp fried rice was bland, which surprised me because my first experience here was much better. Today just felt really off.

When I paid with my card, they asked if I wanted to leave a tip for the delivery person. I tipped five dollars, but the delivery person didn’t even knock on my door. They just left the food on the ground and walked away. My phone was in the other room, so I missed the delivery entirely. I had propped the building door open with a stopper so they could get in, and they didn’t even bother to close it behind them. That really rubbed me the wrong way.

If this is the kind of service I can expect moving forward, I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.

I did not go to pick up the order, so I cannot comment on the atmosphere, cleaniness, etc. I ordered Shrimp Egg Foo Young with fried rice. The shrimp egg food young was flavorless, however, the gravy was thick, dark and loaded with salt, the patties were a little dry and so was the rice. It’s not what I am used to getting, but it was okay. While placing my order, the young lady who answered was polite.

I have to say, this has been my favorite Chinese carryout since I moved from Maryland four years ago. I didn’t think that I would find a place that served some good Chinese here but I have never been happier to be proven wrong.

So I order a lot through Uber Eats whenever I’m at work and about a week or so ago, I was craving both Crab Rangoon and Tofu. Now, I love tofu. And I found out recently that if I have any form of meat after 6pm, my stomach doesn’t like to digest it properly. So, tofu it is! I ordered the Rangoon and then I ordered the Tofu Szechuan and Tofu General Tsao’s. OMFG!!! They were freaking amazing! The food stayed pipping hot when it came to me and the tofu was seasoned so nicely and had a delightful springiness with every bite and also had some crispiness as well.

The white rise is fluffy and it took everything in me to not just eat as it was. The Rangoon the first time I ordered was delicious but it sucked that it didn’t have as much filling. However, I ordered another round earlier and this batch was beyond filling and just as delicious. I wish that they had tofu sesame but that’s okay. I love knowing that there are tofu options when it comes to this restaurant. I cannot wait to buy more from them!

Where to begin? Ho’s Chinese is honestly my favorite Chinese place, and by a wide margin. They know how to make great food! Note that the inside is only open for Carryout, and they have no seating. Still an amazing place!

Best Chinese food I’ve had in the DMV – I got the Singapore noodles, and they tasted very authentic! The service is so quick even for a walk in, and the prices are amazing given the food’s quality and quantity. If you’re looking for a great dinner choice, I would highly recommend this place. An oasis of great food at a great price in a maze of overcharging restaurants.
