What a fun evening with The Tabby proving a great starting point! Meeting Jack the Master Brewer was a highlight. His “Ghost” offering was great while the “Double Angie” definitely makes a statement!! Although The Tabby was our planned drinking stop before dinner, we witnessed great looking/smelling food from the kitchen (next time!) A very entertaining crowd noting The Highlanders from Ft King George stopped by. Hoping The Tabby’s future offering of TO GO beer happens as their beer offerings are great and do change! This is a must stop in Darian – noting a great setting (restored building) with an open back deck overlooking the water and a short walk from Oaks where we stayed.

First visit here today and loved it. Very clean riverside property with counter order, a chill vibe and attentive staff. Spacious downstairs dining room with a large outdoor wooden deck and additional upstairs bar with patio. Addison our bartender was super cordial and helpful, not to mention a skilled multi-tasker. We had a very large & delicious charcuterie board, but all the food orders we saw looked good & fresh. Live music on the deck was the cherry on top. We’ll be back!

Stopped in to try their beers. All were decent. Service was good. Atmosphere was good and in line with the history of the place.
Enjoyable.

An exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is beautiful, the outdoor dining ambiance is perfect, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Each tapas dish was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious, complemented by the energy of the live music. A truly memorable evening — I’ll definitely be returning.

This place is amazing! Historical and now refurbished landmark in Darien. The 2nd floor would be amazing for weddings, reunions, showers, and any other group gatherings. The craftsmanship and history of the building are so impressive. We enjoyed the ales on tap and sat outside. Both bartenders and the assistant manager were very helpful.

The is a gem when visiting Darien and a must visit. The renovations alone will blow you away until you taste the beer and incredible flat bread pizza. We will definitely be back to this brewery !!

If inflated food prices irritate you as bad as they do me, you won’t be bothered here. It’s worth every penny. Thick Italian, great flatbread, golden pub chips, and good locally brewed beer. Awesome atmosphere with some out door seating overlooking the river – gonna shoot for a sunset next. And yes – the bar stools are comfy.

Wife and I spent the night in Darien most in order to be able to visit this amazing small brewery. We had been to every craft brewery in Georgia south of I-20 (and most of them north of North I-285) until new breweries started popping up, a distinctly pleasurable occurrence given the breweries shutting down in Metro Atlanta. After this we just have the newest brewery, located in Vidalia, to visit but wanted to get this one out of the way after having spent the weekend with our daughter’s family in Savannah. Overlooking the dockside area off the back porch, this beautifully restored tabby building fronts Darien’s Broad Street. You can read elsewhere the almost five year journey of saving and restoring this historic building, I’ll just tell you about the food and beer. We got there about 1:30 PM and there were no other patrons in the place, so while they don’t do flights they were able to give us tastes of each beer they had on tap and there wasn’t a single one I would not have enjoyed a full pint of. That said, the smallest serving they do is a pint (well, except for their 13% ABV Double Darien IPA) so we had to pick one – wife chose the Butler’s Blonde ale and I had the Ghost Face Pale Ale. Both were excellent and went well with the food. Now, I’m not going to tell you this was gourmet level, but they were a cut above your average pub food and, being from the Metro Atlanta area, the prices were quite reasonable. Wife had the Triple BLT while I had the bratwurst. Sandwiches come with kettle chips as well as what appear to be three or so of their own dill pickle chips, which were quite tasty. Thoroughly enjoyable and my only regret is we didn’t get back later in the evening to have a pour of the Cherry Stout that they had newly on tap (alas, we had a couple beers eating dinner as well as afterwards at the Marsh Pirate – but that’s another story). Definitely one of the most beautiful settings for a brewery we’ve seen in Georgia. Stop by, you won’t regret it.

We stopped in for dinner on a Thursday evening and had the pastrami sandwich. That sandwich was fantastic!! We loved the building and the layout of the restaurant’s ground floor (we didn’t check out the upstairs). The service was super-fast and everyone was very friendly. My only disappointment was that they did not have very many of their beers on tap that day. I guess it is hard to keep up with demand if everyone is drinking them dry :).
