So disappointing. I met with a group of 4 and it was pretty slow that day (Monday evening). I got the Pick 2 – broccoli cheddar soup and a honey BBQ pork spud. When I got my order along with all others, I didnt think anything of it. My spud came to me with just the honey mustard, nothing more. No cheese, no pulled pork… just the honey mustard sauce on it. I was too engrossed in conversation to not have realized it to say something. If it was busy and it happened, that’d be one thing, but it wasn’t. It was very quiet and slow in there. I should have said something but I didn’t. They should have known it when they made it. But after seeing some of these godawful reviews, it seems like this is a common occurrence there. Not sure how they stay in business. I should have never tipped them until after getting the meal. Lesson learned. There’s plenty of restaurant choices around to not have to resort to this place. What a disappointment. I miss Jason’s Deli right across the street. That was always our go-to. Get it together, McAlister’s!

McAlister’s food is always pretty good. Fresh. Tasty. Nothing special but consistently good. And I often order it for delivery since I WFH. Their tortilla soup was as always super good today, and they take care to wrap the container in cling film to ensure it never spills. In general, their food typically travels well and is packaged well. Or so I thought until today… I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, add cucumber. The picture shows what a mess it was. Impossible to pick up. Fell apart as soon as I unwrapped it, and had HUGE half inch or bigger slices of cucumber on it. No wonder it couldn’t hold together! I ended up eating it with a fork, which made for a soggy, disappointing meal, TBH. Partly my mistake for ordering a croissant sandwich for delivery, I guess, but I’ve ordered it before and it’s never been this poorly put together.

Food was good as usual. Knocked off one star due to drink order not correct a couple of times in the same visit. They also forgot my daughter’s pickle with her meal. Not a huge deal, we will be back to eat.

The Google Maps icon for McAlister’s is misplaced…the deli is to the left of Half Priced Books. This is a very nice deli with a wide selection of sandwiches and salads. Their max baked potato is comprised of two large potatoes and is very yummy. They are well known for their ice tea which is very good. The facility is always clean and the service is quick and friendly. It is usually busy during lunch, but we like to go in the evening when the crowd is much smaller.

I love this place. It’s a commercial deli type food, but it’s good and nicely priced. The nachos are good, I really like them. BLT and Mac & cheese with avocados is a good choice as well. You can’t go wrong with the ham and cheese toasty with cheddar broccoli soup. These photos are half portions of the sandwiches, they do have whole sandwiches.
The service It’s fast nice and knowledgeable. There are restaurants clean but they do get busy during a launch dinner rush.

Rueben was perfect. Cheese steak baked potato was great also! Potato salad is also good. Try it!

Delicious! Really loved the Orange Cranberry Club! I would recommend it! I got the full sandwich (the picture shows half the sandwich). The sweet tea is good but not very sweet which suits a lot of people I’m sure!

Ordered chicken salad croissant. Croissant was stale very little chicken, mostly grapes and mayo. Was not freshly made. Pecanberry salad was very good.

Food: One slice of lunch meat on our sandwiches. Very disappointing and underwhelming!
Service: employees didn’t make eye contact, smile, or anything that resembled common courtesy or friendliness. Waited at the front counter to get refill and no one even acknowledged or asked if I needed anything. I stood there for 10 minutes and two employees walked right past me, no eye contact, no “hello”, or “can I help you?”
Note to Manager and/or franchise owner: when you interview someone, see if they at least smile. Front of the house
employees need to at least be able to make eye contact and smile! (Friendly) human interaction is a prerequisite in the food service industry. I would suggest fixing these issues fast or this location will fail.
