As you can see on the picture I had to remove the ice from my glass twice.
It was very clear they were understaffed that night. However, if that was the case, management should have considered limiting the number of guests during such a major event. Hosting a big fight without enough staff to properly serve customers sets everyone up for a poor experience.
After finally ordering, it took about 40 more minutes for the food to arrive — and when it did, items were missing and drinks were not provided. We had to ask for the manager to resolve the issue. Only after speaking with management were things addressed. They did offer a 20% discount after we pointed out that we were being charged for items we never received.
What was most disappointing wasn’t just the delay, but the lack of urgency and empathy from the staff. I’ve visited other Ojos Locos locations and never experienced this level of poor service. The Laredo location was unfortunately a major letdown. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the customer service experience moving forward.

But things definitely turned around once my waitress showed up. She was super nice and actually asked what game I was trying to watch. She went out of her way to change the TV for me so I didn’t have to be looking up at the top screen the whole time. That small thing really made the experience better.
I ordered a beer, some chips and nachos, and ceviche — all of it was really good. The DJ was playing since it was a Thursday, so the vibe was fun, and once I was settled in, I enjoyed the game, had a couple beers, and it turned into a pretty good night.
Overall, the customer service ended up being solid thanks to the waitress. The only downside was that awkward wait when I first walked in. But after that, everything else was goo
