The food was delicious, when the waiter found out I was a fan of spicy food, he brought out two small ramekins of chillies and chilli oil to adjust the spice level to my own tolerance which was a sweet gesture. The food had a homecooked meal feel and you could tell the genuine passion that was placed in every dish. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Fantastic little place with lovely friendly staff, I visited on a quiet weeknight in January and asked if they would make me a proper “Thai Hot” jungle curry, it was not on the menu but the chef was pleased to make this for me. I had Satay’s for starters and the Jungle Curry was as I hoped for!! It had a great punch to it (chef even came out to see if I was ok lol). Great little place.

The food at Chang Thai was super tasty and really fresh. The owner’s son was also incredibly friendly and easy-going — it was so nice chatting with him! He’s polite, kind, and makes everyone feel welcome. I truly recommend this place to anyone visiting Malta who’s craving authentic Thai food. You won’t be disappointed!

We had a wonderful meal here. We have been in Malta for a week and came across Chang Thai from all the positive reviews and gave it a go and wow we were blown away. It was cooked to perfection the flavours were so intense and aromatic. The waiter was so friendly and attentive with his mum in the kitchen it really was the best evening! We will be going back again before we leave! The only bad thing is we have to go back home soon and we will miss this place!

The food here is incredible ordered two pad Thai style dishes and spring rolls. The portions were very generous and the dishes were packed full of flavour. The service was very good only reason I’m giving it a 4 is because the waiter who was extremely pleasant and attentive brought one entirely dish to our table but was very quick in changing it for us. Atmosphere is a bit quiet inside but the restaurant itself is spotless.

Additional, we had to come back a couple of days later… Possibly the best Thai restaurant we’ve ever been to outside of Thailand, and that’s quite a few as my wife is Thai, our daughter loved the roti.
Absolutely perfect in every way, we highly recommend.
