Staff is very rude to customers. I went in the store to place an order. A customer that was in front of me had ordered almost the same items as me just different breads i had ordered my order on rolls and the other customer had ordered his on bagels. Guy with the baseball cap said the order did not say the type of bread. The other customer went to pay for his order thinking it was his since he was already waiting when i got there. Guy with baseball cap NOW decides to say the order with the type of bread after the previous customer had left i told him it wasn’t mine. He started to get loud and mad because he had gave the wrong order to another customer. He went off talking to his co-workers saying i was just standing there pretty much like a idiot. Worst customer service ever. I had to tell him to relax himself there was absolutely no reason to get loud or for his kind of behavior. He got loud for his mistake its a bagel store people order pretty much the same thing how about you get the persons name along with there order. There are people that can’t understand accents, people with hearing problems, people who are just zoned off due to personal reasons etc. I just happened to be a person with hearing problems and was yelled at and blamed for this workers mistake. Absolutely uncalled for. Been a customer for 5+ years and won’t be returning to this place. Definitely don’t recommend this place AT ALL.

It was my first time at this bagel and deli store. I got a really friendly welcome; everyone was efficient and nice.
I got an everything bagel with butter; it had the perfect amount of butter—so delicious! My daughter got an egg sandwich, and she really loved it. I’m definitely coming back!

Called this morning to place a pick up order. An elderly man answered the phone and took my order, he asked me a question to which I couldn’t understand him since it seemed mumbled on my end. I asked if he could repeat it, again no luck on my end, I again asked the man to please repeat what he was trying to ask me. He then proceeded to scream at me over the phone. His question was “you calling for East Islip?”. After I answered yes, he slammed the phone to end the call. Safe to say that I will not be picking up those sandwiches after the way that I was treated on the phone, I can’t even begin to imagine what the customer service experience will be in person. I took my business elsewhere and will never order from this deli. Based on other reviews, this seems to be the norm for them.

Came the day after opening and it was absolutely amazing; service, food, all 5 stars! Called today, on a Sunday at 1:13 for some sandwiches and they said since they close at 2 they don’t do phone orders but if I came in that I could order in store and they would still be there and be happy to serve me, I said that’s fine I’ll be there in just a few minutes (I live just down the road). Came at 1:20 and the doors were locked, lights shut off. I’ve been sitting in the parking lot and have seen 3 other people walk up to the door and try to pull it open all before 1:30 p.m. If you want to close at 1 that’s fine! Just don’t advertise that you’re open until 2. Also don’t say on the phone that you’ll be able to serve me and when I say I’m going to come in, Insist that I should. Update at 1:35 – 3 more people just all tried the door between 1:30-1:35

Bagel are good!! Service needs an upgrade. Usually bagel shops have 2 lines so that when u just want a dozen bagels there is no need to wait for all of the deli orders to be taken and then rung up. Wait today was crazy ! I only wanted bagels to go. Everyone in front of me was ordering sandwiches or toasted bagels. I am thinking those items must be good too because of the crowd size.

I visited today, 1/25, at 7 AM and had a terrible experience. First, I asked for a dozen bagels, but none of the ones I requested were included in the bag. After that, I began ordering chicken salad, but the employee dropped off the bagels at the register and ignored me to assist the next customer. Fortunately, the lady at the counter asked if I needed anything else, and I told her what I needed. She kindly helped me. While she was retrieving my items, I went to the fridge to grab five containers of cream cheese. At that moment, the man with the hat shouted across the store, accusing me of being on my phone, even though my phone was in my pocket, and I was holding the cream cheese. I wasn’t even facing him. He also blamed me for “holding up the store,” despite there being only three customers, all of whom had already been helped. The lady was very polite and apologized for his actions, but his behavior was completely unprofessional and unnecessary.

There is this one man that is always wearing a baseball cap that is just rude. I’m not sure if he is a manager or owner, he has rung me up a few times. I was mid sentence and he hung up the phone on me, granted I was done with my order but I was saying “Thank you “ and he just hung up . When I got there he didn’t ask if I wanted OJ or coffee just threw the OJ in the bag while complaining about a customer saying “things don’t work how u want it is how I want it”. I was instantly intimidated and was scared to say I would prefer coffee..I’m glad I found a new place that are more personable & have manners.
